Very rude n not nice people, particularly one older guy. Treated me with outta disrespect! Never shopping at cash converters again!!

Never answer the phone and hard to get refunds on faulty items. They make you feel like you broke the item. I think they don't test the stuff well enough when they buy it. Why do people sell stuff in the first place?

Was shopping online at cash converter saw a daiwa rod .the item was located at runaway bay cash converter I call to ask the condition of the rod .back and forward put me on hold for 1 hour on the phone and said miss price the rod I ask for the right price and they double amount .Told me if can’t wait go buy from bcf never seen a business so rude .I respect a little more better customer service from this company there was no negotiation what so ever basically told me to get stuff if your not buying

Very friendly and very helpful staff works in the shop, especially Noelene, Lenka and Rash - they've been extremely helpful and high professional at what they do. I was asking a some questions and I've received a detailed answer. All of them spend enough time with me to make me feel welcome. I would strongly recommend that store to everyone to visit. Great work !

Called this arvo and spoke to Joanne, she was incredibly helpful over the phone with a particular product that I’d seen online. Ordered via the website soon after. Hoping for an “as described” product when it arrives, but was super impressed with Joanne’s customer service over the phone, thank you.Edit: Item was 100% as described.

Such a bad experience! Store was completely dead and quiet as there were 2 staff on gas bagging. Did not have the common sense to look up and see I was waiting at the counter. Standing around as I waited for 20mins for these guys to stop talking. You’re meant to be working are you not? Wouldn’t recommend honestly!

What an absolute horrible experience. I have purchased over 100 items from Cash Converters all over Australia yet I have never had to deal with such nasty, rude, unhelpful staff members before. I was sold a tablet that was incorrectly/inaccurately described – there were numerous scratches that did not show up in the description/pictures online. This wasn’t my biggest issue; it is a second-hand device and small scratches are to be expected. However, the strategic placement of the RRP/tested sticker was appalling – it was clearly placed in a way to block out and hide deep scratches underneath. I was told by the manager (who again, was extremely unpleasant) that the sticker was there as per law/company policy - it supposedly was a marker that the item was tested and thus fit for use. Well guess what? It clearly wasn't tested...within an hour of use two keys on the keyboard no longer work. Weird...I was told by the manager that his store was one of the best in Australia and they had a regimented process to weed out any faults. The manager has been extremely rude over the phone - definitely not a 'people's person'. If you want something done go ahead and contact Head Office first.Additionally, the store NEVER picks up the phone on the weekend. I work in retail myself and I cannot believe how unprofessional, nasty, and downright disingenuous they all have been - stay right away. Or simply scroll up for the plethora of negative reviews.
