Disgusting service during installation of air con, rushed job, left with leeking pipe. Years later I find location of inverter was illegal when installed (above gas hot water). No plumber would replace broken hot water service until invertor was moved. Black Ant denied any problem and left me out of pocket to have electrician correct fault. Do not use this company.

Absolutely horrible service and procedures. The work done was also average quality. I would not recommend to anyone.

Had a flued rangehood newly installed (not a replacement) late January 2020 following a competitive quote. Completely satisfied with the job done. Tradesmen were excellent - very efficient, meticulously tidy and professional. On time and job done as quoted. Pleased to recommended.

Black Ant installed our new oven we purchased through The Good Guys and as such needed to provide extra services as it was discovered the old oven did not have an isolator. Stuart was extremely friendly and professional and they left our home very clean. They arrived on time and were honest and open about the work involved. Highly recommend.

Great company to deal with quick easy and convenient

These guys are legit con men. Booked through Good Guys for an aircon install and they turned up and immediately started saying there was going to be extra costs for various things such as having to work on a ladder as it would take longer. It was a barrage of information but ultimately was going to be an additional $500-$800 on top of the $800 I’d already paid. Seemed suss so told them I wasn’t going to go ahead so Stuart informed me there was a $165 call out fee if they don’t go ahead. Naturally I’m visibly/verbally not pleased about this so he told me he’s sorry and he’s get his PA to call me for payment the next day. When I go to Good Guys to complain I find out he’s been black listed by them previously and had gotten back onto the system with a new company name. Good Guys was very apologetic and rebooked me with another contractor who came out and installed no problem with no additional charges. Funnily enough I never heard from Stuart’s PA for that call out fee….

Asked for quote to install tap Monday morning, sent photos of area. No response.

We had a super early appointment this morning and Harry attended on time. He was very efficient and polite and cleaned up after himself (not all tradesmen do that). He was ever-mindful that we were on a tight schedule and needed to get out of the house at a certain time. Great job and on time. Thanks again Harry!
