Coober Pedy Auto Centre

Our Land Rover Discovery 5 needed towing to Adelaide after breaking down on the Oodnadatta Track at Oodnadatta. Land Rover Assist organised recovery by the RAA in Coober Pedy. When Harman arrived, he was efficient and decisive. Our car was loaded onto his tilt tray and on it's way very quickly. John from the RAA Coober Pedy office liaised with us personally by phone calls on 2 or 3 occasions. Excellent response and service. Thank You.

Great job fixing a stone chip on the windscreen we picked up from all the road works leading to Coober Pedy.Can’t even see it after the repair.

Absolutely horrible attitude and service! We are doing a 6,000km lap of the red centre and broke down on the way to Coober Pedy with access to only a satellite phone. Following their website we called ahead to order spare parts for when we get there so we can complete our journey but they refused to do so even when we offered to pay upfront. We are now facing Anne Beadell - 1300km of the most remote track in Australia with broken rig and risking our lives because the only business along the way refused to help us! Shame on you! We will make sure to include this in the TV documentary we are shooting along the way so the whole Australia knows how you treat people in emergency!

These guys were so polite and efficient. I was just staying overnight and needed my tyres rotated after a few nasty flats on the Gunbarrel Highway. They checked the underbody and fixed the tyre pressure as well for me, far more quickly than I expected, given I didn't pre-book. Thank you very much

If I could leave minus a star I would, after getting a wheel stuck 6km outside the the town, we called the auto centre to be told by an very rude woman that they didn't have a 4wd and couldn't help us. When we asked if there was anywhere else we can call as we were stuck alone, she said no and hung up!! Really can't believe the lack of care and find it hard to believe they had no vehicle that could tow us. We ended up calling the local servo who put us through to the police who came and towed us out in 30mins.

They were very helpful and unlike the other 2 shops in town were actually open. They had some runout truck tires that got me out of trouble (these were an odd size so I was grateful for anything I could get)
