This is probably a very different story if you are selling or if you are the landlord, but their treatment of tenants is terrible. Michelle ignored our emails about broken fans for months, resulting in a large amount of mould in our apartment, and tried to steal our bond when we left. She repeatedly lied about it blaming not having internet for the lack of communication, for weeks. We lost many hours to get back what we were owed.If you are looking for a rental, make sure this is not this real estate agency managing it.

We have our property managed by Michelle and her team in First National Epping Central. Michelle is very professional and detailed in explaining the process with good recommendations. She has it leased after a week and has provided detailed inspection photographs of the property. She is managing the property well and keeps us well informed. Highly recommend to go with Michelle.

She assisted me greatly dealing with a problem tenant, and didn't hesitate to take a problem tenant on her books in the last few weeks of the tenancy. My first rental home in Sydney was through First National. My husband and I worked with Michelle Gruszka and honestly, I have never been this disappointed. She never mentioned that there is a massive internet issue in Sophia Apartment, High Street. None of the service provider functions in that apartment. There is no NBN or 5G. We have tried Optus, TPG, Telstra. Both of us are working so we literally had to connect our laptops via phone hotspot. She also did not give us the house in a livable condition. I had to clean each and everything myself. But she did expect me to clean the mould from the bathroom when I left the house which was present since the day I moved in. I got the house cleaned and apparently it wasn’t ‘clean’. She made us clean again and will deduct the money from the bond. Never sent us an ingoing report for the house before moving in and claims otherwise.It is a pain to get in touch with her. Does not respond to texts, calls. Does not meet when we went to her office. Did not even give an appointment when we kept asking one for weeks. Absolutely difficult to comprehend her emails. Kept saying we have rent pending when we paid rent in advance. And now, we have to file a case with NCAT because she refuses to understand that we do not owe her rent. Rent was paid every fortnight but she mentioned that the rent hit the trust account with a delay of 3-4 days and therefore, we were inconsistent with rent. Showed her all the bank receipts with the exact date but she mentions that apparently bank delayed the transfer, which is why we were inconsistent.She even delayed our rental reference for another house because of which we lost multiple houses when we wanted to move. We have come to Sydney 6 months ago and did not really know much. She took us for a ride, did not mention half of the details, misled us and we are now absolutely harassed. All in all, had a very bad experience and I DO NOT suggest them. Extremely bad experience for a person when we have just moved countries!First National in other parts of Sydney might be good but absolutely not the one in Epping.

The team at First National Epping was excellent. Allison and I first discussed the property sale over 18 months before it listed. She was extremely patient and understanding and left the timing completely to me. Allison, Jane and Danielle were a pleasure to work with and achieved a price well in excess of expectations. They never once gave me false or unrealistic estimates. There are a number of agents in to choose from in this area. I am just fortunate to have chosen the best one

Michelle is very professional and approachable. As far as Property Managers go she has by far been the best I’ve dealt with, her willingness to solve issues in a timely manner and fantastic communication skills has made my leasing period very easy.

They do not provide reference when asked! Did pay on time and never bring any trouble, they are just too lazy to send a simple email! Avoid! Go somewhere else. FYI all the real estates around the Epping/Ryde are very bad, just look at the reviews and check yourself. Be aware of fake reviews.
