Syd’s Pie Shop Aspley
Jalapeno and cheese pie is very tasty - could be a bit warmer. Also, you need to manage your long jam donuts better - I bought one last Sunday and it was at least a couple of days old. Bun was hard and dry like cardboard and the cream had spoiled. Wasted 5 bucks. This has actually happened twice so far.

If you like British and Scottish foods other than fish and chips then this is the place to go. I really enjoy the haggis pies and have bought a lot of food to take home.

I have been going to Syds since he was in Woodbridge, then up to Springwood,then Loganhome, when I found out he had opened up in Aspley i was over joyed. I went there today and guess what? I won’t be going back. $7 each for a pie and $19 for a small pack of square sausage, Sorry Syd or whoever owns it now .

I was greeted politely by a young lady with brown hair. She was exceptionally helpful and radiated positivity. Overall I was highly satisfied with my service and the food was lovely.

So happy Syds has opened up on the Northside! A good selection of English foodstuffs, including haggis, black pudding and Scottish square sausage ready to take home to cook.But what I can't go past is the pies! Personal fave Beef & Guinness pie, with good amounts of chunky steak! Done forget to ask for potato mash, mushy peas and gravy!

The first English shop I’ve come across that sells Hartley Jelly. I was very excited to see they had Blackberry, Strawberry, Raspberry, Orange & Lime flavours. I remember eating jelly cubes as a child.

Great produce. Really enjoyed my Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. The Ayrshire Bacon was second to none and the Sliced Sausage was just right. The Potato Scones were delicious fried with an egg on top.

Just stopped for a pie - absolutely delicious. The Cornish pasties was brim full of meat and vegetables encased in a crisp, not soggy tasty pastry. Such friendly staff - will make it hard not to return on a daily basis.
