Seams like a lot of people are wanting to sabotage this local businesses reputation. Here is my experience with West Coast Auto Airconditioning. A few weeks ago while the weather was still warm my car's airconditioning was not cold anymore. Took my car to two other mechanics (big mistake) before bringing my car here. Keith was upfront, honest, told me that a simple regas will not fix the issue and further diagnosing needs to be carried out which will be $145 and further more if the repairs are too expensive then will only cost me $145 for the day (which I think is fair). The diagnosis was thorough and was explained clearly to myself. This business clearly knows what they are doing and will have an everlasting great impression on me. I will highly recommend this business to anyone.

I recently had some work completed on my Suzuki Vitara here, as it was leaking coolant. Keith was excellent, with great customer service and explained everything in a very clear manner while talking me through everything that needed to happen. He kept me updated with the work as it commenced, and completed the job quickly and well while ensuring I got a good price for it. Highly recommend!

Had a pleasant experience with these guys looking at my airconditioning in my car today. From the very start, staff were polite and I knew exactly how much I was up for cost wise. I was kept in the loop throughout the process, and the people in the workshop seemed very knowledgeable and definitely knew their stuff. Will definitely be using these guys again.

My experience here was horrible! Kieth is the most insincere and deceptive person I have ever dealt with. I will never have anything to do with this businss again.

Business has recently deleted all previous reviews which reflect their dishonesty and poor business practices. Had an incredibly bad experience here with Keith the owner and the women working there being rude and deceitful. Avoid this business Keith is nothing but trouble and I now know of multiple people who have had awful experiences there and had to pay for unnecessary things or else Keith withholds the car and police are unable to assist which Keith is aware of. Please take all civil matters to consumer affairs.

I could not be more impressed with the service and support from all the staff at West Coast Aircon. Their work on the aircon of my Prado was exemplary, the staff friendly and helpful and the outcome affordable and reasonably priced.

Had my Holden Cruze airconditioning done here recently. Great staff, great service, very happy with my experience today.

Great experience at West Coast Auto Airconditioning, Mandurah. My thanks to Keith for his service and advice. He listened and explained what he could do to help, was very knowledgeable and polite and clearly indicated what needed to be done and costs involved. He was very prompt in getting back to me and the a/c in my mini is working great now. I highly recommend this local family run business and will be back. 5 stars!

PLEASE BE AWARE! Business has recently managed to RESET Google account and got rid of multiple negative reviews. This is our experience:Be very wary, dishonest quoting and abusive owner. Booked aircon re-gas quoted for $185. Called me stating multiple issues found and are unable to re-gas, will cost $2135 to fix. Requested itemised quote. Business refused to provide itemised quote. Advised them we will not be going ahead. Was told still have to pay $185 or they won’t give me my car back. When questioned this the owner said it actually costs $185 to diagnose and $165 to re-gas on top of this and that they can’t re-gas without diagnosing. Total cost $350 but that the quote for re-gas was provided and apparently it’s implied the cost to diagnose even though never mentioned. Police contacted, owner stated a law that they can keep the car until service paid for specific to auto industry which made me think they have done this before. When we paid the $185 the owner then threatened us that if he saw any bad reviews online he would blacklist us for future services on a website for trades but wouldn’t do this if we agreed we wouldn’t do a negative review.Have had multiple mechanics review the diagnosed issues and confirm the cost was exaggerated and unnecessary items added for extra money. 1 day later the air conditioning started working again and has been fine since, with no service done to it. Sad to have lost $185 but at least they didn’t get the $2135 they wanted. Owner used name calling specific for females and asked me to wait outside when I was there with my baby and it was over 30 degrees outside. Avoid at all costs.

Like others, I agree that the business has setup another Google profile as the reviews weren’t great.After accidentally severing the rear ac pipe on my Nissan patrol, I had it professionally removed and repaired, pressure tested and fitted.I then took the car to Keith explaining this and he said I would need to pay $185 which would cover his team going over the system and vacuuming the system and leak testing it etc before he could regas it.I got a call an hour after dropping it off saying it would be an extra $50 because it was dual system (front and rear) units which was ok.Long story short 4.30pm comes round (I dropped the car off at 9am) and no call to say it was done so I’ve gotten to the workshop, to be told the vehicle had failed the leak test, and then proceeds to tell me it’s got the wrong evaporator drier in it, and needed he condenser removed and cleaned, and needed new pipe work and a therm fan replaced hands me a quote for $2500 telling me that’s the minimum I’d have to spend to get it working again.After 3 months of swealtering through summer I decided to get a second opinion. I Watched the guy vac and pressure test the system which was untouched from when it left Westcoast auto airconditioning, gas the system and guess what.. it’s still ice cold 2 years later, and only cost me $170 in total! Turns out thermo fans fine, condenser is clean and it is the original and correct evaporator for the vehicle….Don’t try and rip people off. I understand you try this tactic upon the older generation with their touring rigs etc and anyone reading this take it as a warning. The other reviews will say similar as I have.Reported the business to the dept of commerce as he holds a MRB license also and was told it’s not the first complaint they’ve had.
