Great piece of history run by a friendly and dedicated crew. Modest museum and great local pottery shop. Definetly worth a visit if you are in town.

Carcoar is a pretty little town with a picnic/bbq area, old buildings and rolling hills.

An interesting stop to explore the old courthouse and see some memorabilia of the towns history. There is also a pottery gallery here with some very nice pieces for sale.

Carcoar Courthouse
A beautiful, sleepy little village with historic buildings. We were there in mid winter, out of school holidays, and it was beautifully quiet. The little park across from the courthouse has a river which was flowing when we were there. Nothing is open on Mondays and Tuesdays, but it was still a treat to see these classic historic buildings.

Free entry to the old Courthouse museum, some interesting artic acts from yesteryear. An interesting Pottery shop. Quaint old Town.

Beautiful colourful imaginative pottery! Interesting seeing the historic Court House. Would be lovely & cool in Summer, but is freezing in Winter!

We went there for the Carcoar Running Festival which really puts this charming little town on the map. The winners presentation was done at the courthouse and it felt very special in this historical place! It was great to see the actual court room used for something contemporary and right next door to its museum section.
