Fun facts about the Wild Horse Mountain Scenic Lookout:Wild Horse Mountain Scenic Lookout stands at an elevation of 123 meters (404 feet) above sea level. The lookout offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the Glass House Mountains, the Pumicestone Passage, and the coastline. The lookout was named after the wild horses (wild brumbies) that were once found in the area. Today, the area is home to a variety of wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, and a variety of bird species. The lookout is provided by Telstra and the DPI (Department of Primary Industries) and offers a good viewing platform and information (just look up) to the different views. The lookout is located just off the Bruce Highway, making it easily accessible to visitors traveling between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

Very nice look out to see the Glass House Mountains, it's a steep 700m walk to the top but worth the effort just take your time,.

Great walk! Only 15-20 minutes up but the most amazing view of the hinterland and of the coastline. Pretty steep so prepare to get a puff on.

Fabulous views from the top of the lookout and very highly recommended when the weather is good! The walk upwards is quite steep and takes about 10 minutes. There's a small amount of shade from the trees on the route up, and whilst dogs are allowed, it's worth checking the floor temperature ahead of ascending. There's a shaded seating area at the lookout with stunning views all around. Great location for launching a drone for some aerial shots, and the car park is plentiful, although quite rugged.

It's steep at times, though the view is totally worth it. You can stop continuously if needed as the path is wide. Do it, and you won't regret it.

I did read the reviews before, but it was a bit steeper, thank i though it will be. It is doable though. While i was walking up, the rain started spitting a bit though and i was worried, if the way back is going to be slippery, as it was like road (see photos). With the rain there was a beautiful rainbow. The view is very nice. I saw a couple of dogs so must finally be a place they allow dogs, which is good.No toilets or bins again.

Wild horse is a relatively easy hike to the other Glasshouse mountains. The sign says 700m but the incline makes it feel like 1.5k. It is sealed road to the top, the you reach a lookout that's been there since I was in primary school (30+yrs). A twilight walk is highly recommended. Guage whether to take a torch depending on how bright the moon is.

Great 360 degree views of Caloundra, Bribie and Moreton Island and the Glass House Mountains.700m walk up a constant incline which is a wide concrete track.Viewing tower at the top with plenty of information about the local area. (pity about the vandalism and graffiti). If you are lucky, you might spot a python or two.

Very short but steep hike. At day time when sun is high up, it would be hard. Better to do early morning or afternoon. Sunset was breathtaking and I believe sunrise also will be beautiful.
