Lovisa

I was there on 11 dec 2020 around 1 pm. Really had a bad experience. Two staff members were really rude to me. I was there to buy earrings for my Christmas party but I left the store without buying anything because of the staff. I was trying an earring and one staff told me that I have to buy it if I put it on and I told her that I didn’t know about that as there was no information on this and the other staff didn’t tell me. When I asked the other staff why she didn’t tell me earlier, she said she already told me, but she hadn’t.Anyways, this was my first time in the store and this will be my last! I am never going back again. I would not recommend anyone to go there.

i am very disappointed with lovisa’s staff. as a retail worker, i know that we are not allowed to assume that a person is stealing because of how they look, so i was absolutely shocked when a short, tanned worker with a ponytail (black hair) and stud nose piercing harshly asked if she could check my bag when i had not been in the store for more than five minutes. the woman was also an adult. i, being a retail worker myself, was genuinely offended by not just that but the fact that she continued to eye me out and almost follow my every move. it is not her right to assume that i am stealing just because i may ‘look’ a certain way. it is discriminatory and absolutely ridiculous. i thought that as a retail worker, she would have known better, but apparently not. not only that but she felt the need to check every inch of my bag. this experience was horrible and i will be sure to share it with anyone i can. unbelievable service. it was very disappointing to see that the staff member made assumptions that were completely inappropriate. just because someone looks a certain way does not make them a thief. i will not be shopping there anymore and neither will anyone i know. please either train that member or do something about it because i for one was deeply offended, as were my family.

On boxing day, I bought two similar sets of earrings in Lovisa because one staff in there said that if there was a promotion for buying 2 for $20 in this corner but this only applied for buying two similar ones. I paid and didn’t check my bank account. After one week, I checked my bank account and found that the Lovisa charge me nearly $60 for that earrings. I called for Lovisa Casuarina and they said me coming back and bringing my receipt. When I came there, I saw the promotion was changed and just few items sticked “the buying 2 for $20”. So how I claimed my money back?.

when we entered the store the lady wouldn’t let us touch anything because it recently organised and my friend picked something up and she got kicked out because they thought we were stealing then we left and the workers called security on us

The lady with glasses and tanned skin makes me and my friends/ parents extremely uncomfortable she eyes down us so much to the point i start shaking and leaving the store. she tries to touch our clothing. another time she called security to watch us aswell while we where in there finding some jewellery for our cousins. we did end up purchasing the items we needed and left immediately. i completely understand if she would want to watch us slightly from afar if that makes her feel any better that we are not stealing but as a retail worker myself she is doing a terrible job at making us feel comfortable and happy to shop there. otherwise when she isn’t there. i do enjoy shopping there. i prefer gateway lovisa
