Absolutely delicious food! We particularly enjoyed the hoppers, beetroot bhajis and fish curry. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Would highly recommend!

We had the vegetarian banquet. The food was fantastic! The veggie tartare was a highlight.Fabulous service! Our waiter was personal and informative and the atmosphere was bustling yet cosy.

This was one of the most delicious meals I have had in the five months I've spent in Sydney.. bursting with flavour! The atmosphere in the Colombo Social is low-key and chilled and the staff are lovely. I understand now why it's always so busy!Very highly recommended.

We had a really delicious dinner here. The cocktail list is infused with Lankan oddities, one even comes in an elephant. The service was quick and friendly. And the food was delish.We had the soft shell crab tacos. And what a burst of flavour. Although everything else was flavourful, fresh and fabulous it was those tacos for me. I will go back just for them.There was a range of heats and a limited but sufficient wine and beer list.It was great value, a glass of wine each and plenty of food just $120 for the two of us.

Colombo Social serves scrumptious Sri Lankan dishes in a warm setting. The decor of Colombo Social is absolutely gorgeous and the management have displayed many a Sri Lankan artefacts with great pride. Colombo Social brings many a pieces missing in majority of Sri Lankan restaurants to create an ambience to encapsulate a diner. Great food served in a beautiful setting by some amazing people, and a visit here is definitely a must.The menu showcases a variety of popular Sri Lankan dishes. The team have beautifully integrated refreshing twists to create a fusion that stays true to the nostalgic flavours of the dish.The drinks menu is pretty good as well and gives the diner an opportunity to try Sri Lankan spirits and beers. On your visit, make sure to order a Lion beer or a Ceylon Arrack based cocktail to get the complete experience.

We had the banquet here. Each course was better than the next. Many beautiful flavours, and ingredients, all complementing each other. The service was top notch, and overall ambience of the place is lovely.This is a restaurant with a purpose, which makes dining here more meaningful.Definitely has become a favourite. I’ll be back!
