This place is shonky..booked a room couldn't get to Walgett as it was flooded ..was charged $118.00 was refunded begrudgingly once spoke to owner and booking. Com only to be charged a week and a half later .I have never stayed here and never will

This is a country motel in a small outback town, not a luxury resort. The rooms were clean and there were three chairs (why do some places have only one chair for two people?) The service was great - couldn't have been more helpful. Only regret is that I didn't see the offer of a curry before we'd eaten elsewhere.

If you must to stay in Walgett, this motel is about as good as you will get. Rooms are OK, but I can't say much more about them. It apparently is a 'secure' place within a lockup compound. The proprietors are very nice.

The room at first glance was clean although I killed a cockroach immediately on entering the bathroom. The room was extremely small and dated but though only a double bed it was comfortable. However on waking in the morning we discovered 5 out of the 6 mouse traps had caught victims. As well it sounded like there were mice inside the mattress. Definitely overpriced at $110 and I would not return to stay again

If you go there remember to take your own bedsheets and pillowcase + towel. If not you will regret. But the owner and the location is really good.

we stayed 6/4/23 for one night on our way to Lighting Ridge.Old Style motel, clean but dated. I read some of the reviews below and I can confirm that I did NOT need to bring my own linen and I guess they weren't having a mice plague at the moment.I enjoyed sitting at my outdoor setting with a beer and watching the thousands of Sulphur Crested Cockatoos in the gum tree.The motel is in a secure compound and locked at night. The swimming pool was out of action and not clean.

I received a very warm welcome on checking in . The very lovely lady Rima was very friendly. She is definitely an asset to the business. Everything you would need for a comfortable stay if your are stopping by for a night or two. I would certainly stay there again and would highly recommend it.

It was very nice for a few nights, but there was lots of flaws such as smell, holes in the walls & floor(not big though) and the appliances. We were told we would be given plates, cutlery, a microwave and a roster. We were only given plates and a microwave. We had to buy plastic forks, we were given a few butter knives but nothing else. For the microwave we had to borrow my great aunties from a few doors down. But the beds were comfy
