Native Dog Flat Campground
Great spot to camp, the toilet was clean and NOT smelly. Recommended. However one toilet for a camping area this size needs to be expanded to two or three. Cheers.

Great place to chill out. Huge camping area. Running river water. Wild brumbies everywhere. Remote. 4WDriving. Perfect.

The camp ground is situated next to a ice cold stream and waking up to wild brumbys and kangaroos is the bestIt’s in the middle of nowhere

Intending visitors should keep in mind that this is the High country and during the cold seasons the winter months up here can be cold to the point where if not careful you can get frostbite. Don't underestimate what nature can dish out.Please take your memories & rubbish with you

Native Dog Flat Campground
Nice campsite along Alpine Way near Benambra. Easy drive to access - could make it in 2wd and there were a lot of large caravans here when I visited. There is one toilet here.Overall it is a nice place but the site was quite busy over the Australia Day long weekend.There is also a nice day use picnic area next to this campground.

Very nice camp ground with the Buchan River flowing past if you like Brumbies this area have about 6 families of Brumbies wondering around.

Native Dog Flat Campground
Amazing campsite next to a flowing creek. Flat and open grass field. Plenty of shaded spots for tents. Brumbies grazing nearby, they can get quite close at night.Fairly cold at night (mid November).
