Simple but everything you need. Recently renovated, very clean, ac, close to the city center. Great owner Shane who helped us with everything. Great value 10/10

This place is great. Rooms were well kept and the manager was excellent. They also have a great community presence. Top place all round.

Stayed for one night only. Very warm welcome by Letitia. Good size clean, bedroom with enough utilities to satisfy most people. Secure parking and covered pool area. Good value for money. Would come again.

Beautiful room and bathroom, clean, good beds, kid friendly, friendly staff, great location. For price this is the best accommodation we have stayed in.

I have been to this motel several times. Before everything was ok, it was clean and without bugs. But last time the room was not cleaned after previous guests, the microwave and toilet were dirty, the bin in the bathroom was full of trash, I was really disappointed.

Great place to stay. Helpful staff. Clean , calm and peaceful. Very good if you just want to spend quality time with yr family or by yrself. Grocery stores are not so near.

I am a frequent visitor to sunny Cairns but I must admit, YAL has got to be the best ever kept secret tucked quietly but conveniently to all the closest places you would want to go to when in the City .A family and community focused establishment oozing friendliness and great vibes. I couldn't help noticing how spacious and clean each of their 37 rooms were. My access to their gym, BBQ, storage bays, boardroom and conference room was entirely free. I made good use everyday of my stay to shoot hoops in their outdoor court.A full breakfast is served every morning for under $10 only and it is ridiculously good. A full load of laundry cost me less than $5.00.Whenever I needed to Uber into Cairns Central, Carol (mummy dragon) or Dad Geary, who live onsite as well would charge $10 for a trip. Their son and manager of the place, Shane is full of life and will make you feel as though he was born to serve mankind. He is such a lovely person with great conversation. His kind and caring character permeates YAL.My experiences at YAL far outweighed the dollar value I paid for my accommodation. I am staying there again with my family when I next visit Cairns.

Great bathroom, average bedroom, friendly service, noisy location, ask for a room on the other side from the main road
