Carawirry Forest Escape

What an absolute delight!This is our second visit in Carawirry and we enjoyed it very much. In fact we plan to try every single cabin in the future.Its safe to say my whole family did not want to go home after a couple of days here.

Our stay at Carrawirry Forest Escape was a dream! The house is beautifully designed, beds and lounges super comfy and the plunge pool area was much needed during the hot summer days. Even with a big group there's lots of space and the kitchen has got to be one of the most well equipped holiday kitchens I've ever experienced. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will be back!

Positive experience overall. Treehouse lounges are dirty and old and felt uncomfortable. Rooms seperated by curtains which didnt bother us but not great for groups. Poor lighting - lights down stairs were out and couldnt see properly for our stay. Welcome pack was great and covered everything and good clear signage and maps. Bath house was fab, bathroom and kitchen were as advertised but the linen smelt like melted cheese or one of the face washers smelt like vomit covered with laundry liquid smell. All in all a small update and is perfect cabin to unwind and would stay for weeks at a time.

The Treehouse at Carawirry gave us the peace and quiet we were both in desperate need of. The cabin and surroundings were incredible and the friendly visitors were adorable.

Such a restful and peaceful setting. From the moment we arrived it was simply magic. We felt so welcomed and nestled in with the friendly local wildlife. The Cottage cabin was perfect for two people but we can also see ourselves inviting a couple of friends for our next visit. Heather and John were simply the best hosts. Communication and friendliness five star!

We were pinching ourselves all weekend! Is it possible to completely fall in love with every aspect of a getaway location and want to go to no other ever again?? - At Carawirry, we did.My husband and I took away our young family of three kids (2yrs,5yrs,7yrs) to Carawirry Forest Escape and stayed at Tethra House. Our aim was to find a place where we could return from our trip having actually recovered from the hustle and bustle of everyday life rather than needing a holiday after a holiday - those with kids will know what I mean.Thank you Heather and John for creating this sanctuary for us to unwind and recharge while we connected together as a family and disconnected from the usual dynamic city lifestyle.Our young family of five loved connecting with the curious birds, and animals. Meeting a Kangaroos up close and personal in their natural environment and being able to pat and feed it will stay with us all forever. The mapped out bushwalks that wound their way around the property were a feast, especially as we just had to step out the door and didn't need to drive anywhere for the adventure. Even the unique bugs knocked our socks off!The plunge pool was a source of many giggles and much joy for all of us and us adults spent much time delighting in the exquisite attention to detail in the structure of the property which delighted our eyes, while the personal touches truly made our holiday unforgettable.Dear Heather and John, thank you for bringing to life what we all dream of as the perfect getaway. We want to personally acknowledge you for the obvious love and care you have put in to make Carawirry Forest Escape absolutely outstanding.PS: we spent the entire trip back home on the website looking at available dates to book our return getaway.We simply cant wait to visit again really soon.

The Cottage was stunning. Everything you could possibly want was there. The breakfast hamper was enormous! Quiet, relaxing and picturesque location. I’d highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay. The outdoor bath was divine and we went walking and wild swimming every day. We had everything we needed and a tree change was fun for our 4 kids (15. 13, 10 and 8). Highly recommended :)

Wow, what a hidden gem. We stayed in The Cottage for our 24th wedding anniversary and it was blissful. Massages on the deck, outdoor baths, forest walks and just relaxing listening to the wildlife. Super comfy beds.BYO clothes, food and drinks.Everything was perfect.Cannot wait to go back.

We hosted our recent retreat with Carawirry. Heather and her team, made this experience seamless. Heather goes above and beyond to cater and help to create incredible experiences. The property is divine. With all of the small details thought of, to create a nourishing experience. Delicious crunchy sheets, unbelievably thick and luxurious towels, white robes created an experience that felt indulgent, relaxed and looked after. A huge thank you to the team at Carawirry.
