I was never there

We love this place. This place is well equipped with almost everything you need at home - comfy beds, basic & clean appliances, clean space, BBQ area at the back, ample parking space and many more. Roy, the owner/host, is a very humble man, friendly and accommodating. He s a retired vet who is eager to share his passion abt animals and we learn quite a bit too. Kids loved their first time close encounter with sheep. This Lodge at Little Rock is not far from the main highway. The junction to this Lodge is located right opposite Merredin's famous Silos with beautiful giant mural artwork on them. Its a mural of two plant pots with sprouting seedlings with a man & a woman standing tall on the silos. Merredin itself is a small traditional town with friendly people. We love it there. The quiet & peaceful accommodation really is a treat. Its not grand and big like motel or hotel but it's uniquely Roy's, small but cosy & welcoming.

Great farmstay

So impressed with The Lodge and the Merredin area. It is well sign posted so you can’t miss it. Roy is a wonderful host and has literally thought of all the little things one can easily forget. The Lodge is comfortable and cosy with a great outdoor area for winding down. Do yourself a favour and take in the night sky, the stars are amazing!

Lovely, quiet and comfortable. Roy is a lovely host, the amenities are simple but clean and with high attention to detail. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Comfy bed and nice sheets. Lovely farm to walk around in the morning, and lots of curious sheep to admire. A deck with table and chairs to eat outside or just to relax. Reverse cycle aircon kept the temperature constant and very comfortable throughout the night. Highly recommend to stay here!

Wonderful, Rural,Roomy and views. Private, Wheel chair friendly with patio with Bbq n Fire pit and all so clean! Looking over a Rural farm. We will stay again for sure. Jim n Karen.
