This is a great little coffee shop in the Figtree neighborhood. The food is excellent and well priced. It's made to order, so be patient. There is also a little shop next door for picking up necessities and treats..

I was looking for a dog-friendly cafe in Figtree this morning and can confirm that Rest Cafe is a fantastic option! The cafe itself was very clean (including the outdoor seating area) and even had a water bowl for dogs to drink from. The staff were lovely and the service was fast, especially considering it was 10am on a Friday morning. Pricing is reasonable - the cappuccino and banana bread I ordered were delicious, probably the best coffee I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend!

What a great little find! Randomly stopped here for a brunch and so glad we did.Food was absolutely fantastic and the service was exceptional.We will be back on drives down the coast.

Not only is the proprietor lovely but he is an amazing chef. Home made walnut slice and zingy lemon tart with home made lemon spread were just the beginning. Yummmm

The code was so good. I didn't have any food so I can't comment. There was a reasonable amount of seating so had no issues. The atmosphere is not bad. It is half a convenience store so there is a bit of that feel. Parking is street parking. Not a ton but sufficient. Overall I really liked the place

I am a cafe lover and first reviewed this cafe about three years ago, I have been going there regularly since then which says a lot. They have comfortable seating, wheelchair and pram access and they make a seriously tasty and beautifully presented eggs Benedict. The chef has changed, new chef Paul seems friendly however no longer makes the best eggs Benedict in the Illawarra (less sauce, less smoked salmon, no fresh tomatoes anymore). Stu the owner is also lovely and they do still make a decent Beni and a pretty decent chia latte. They have a good variety of other yummy brunch food too. I still highly recommended them but would love to see the eggs Beni go back to the way it was under the female chef of years ago.

Amazing food and absolutely lovely service. They even have a little convenience store attached to their cafe. It's just brilliant. The food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.
