The mood lighting creates such a warm vibe with this open industrial style space and its interior especially the flickering latern style lighting. The restaurant is sectioned to one side whilst the casual bar & seating together with live DJ on the opposite side of the bar gives it a cosy effect despite how large the space is. Nestled on the top floor of its Sister Longrain. Asian influenced bar snacks were delightful as an accompany to my Martini!

Despite booking on line, it took discussion between 4 consecutive people to then get shown to our seats. Water and menu arrived promptly, and the waiter advised he would return for our orders. After 15 minutes, no waiter, so I approached the bar to get help to order drinks. Cocktails and bar snacks ( lotus chips and oysters) were ordered. The cocktails arrived quite promptly, and were delicious. Finished sipping through the drinks. Then waited about 20 minutes, still no food, and no waiter asking if we would like another, so thought we may just leave. Ambience was great, good music and vibe, just let down by service.

Perfect place for a drink before the theatre, a great bar in the heart of the city with a distinctive aesthetic. The bar staff are very knowledgeable and very friendly. There is a range of drinks with unique cocktails and don't be afraid to ask the bar staff for the classics that aren't on the menu. Looking forward to going back to try the food.

An exceptional choice of venue for our work function. We were greeted with great cocktails on arrival. Abundant and high quality finger food was served throughout the night and didn't stop coming. The music was a bit too loud for networking but it was perfect for the dancing afterwards. 5 star, if you don't really need to talk. Fabulous bar, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Such a great place to enjoy good food, drinks and cocktails with friends. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxing and with friendly services by the staff, the night was fantastic.

Visited Longsong Bar last night with a group of 5.We were all blown away by the food, the atmosphere, and the service.The food was absolutely delicious with Noah our waiting making some fantastic suggestions.The atmosphere at Longsong Bar is very relaxed and inviting. The space is dimly lit and decorated with warm wood tones and hanging plants. The acoustics meant you could all talk without having to yell.The service at Longsong Bar was top-notch. Noah was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent recommendations and was always happy to answer any questions we had. He also made sure that our glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed.Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Longsong Bar. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all top-notch. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Melbourne.

We hosted a 30th birthday dinner in the central dining area of Longsong (The Stalls) and had a great experience! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the night and the banquet menu we had was tasty and well received by our guests. If you're thinking of holding an event we'd highly recommend this space! Thanks to the team for having us.

The place is amazing. We did celebrate the bridal shower here. Tim looked after us. Great service and mouthwatering food and drinks.. great ambiance to catch up with friends especially on a Friday night.

Had a function here and it was perfect. Food and service was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and always followed up on drinks. Food was delicious and they also had a kids menu which was perfect for my 3 year old who can't handle spicy dishes.

Fantastic venue, the decor is lovely and the location is great. Didn’t get to try the food. We came on New Year’s Eve for their event/party. It was sadly empty and this is of course no one’s fault and was out of the staff’s control. The issue arose when the bartender offered us a second drink before closing (because they were closing early) he said quote “it would be a shame to not have a shot with us” us meaning the rest of the staff who came upstairs after clocking off I assume. We were offered tequila and we did a nice cheers and then we both expected to pay for our first drinks (x2 cocktails from earlier) however, we noted that we were also charged 15 bucks per shot. Which is fine if it’s not presented as have a shot with us/complimentary. Pretty disappointing. Next time be more clear about whether it’s an upsell with the staff or a complimentary drink or an apology for closing on NYE. Either is fine but clarity would be appreciated. Will still be back to try food, just not on NYE.
