South Durras Beach

Lovely dog friendly beach with crystal clear waters and views of the rock formations. Plenty of parking space. There are bike routes close to the beach. Also, a skate park and basketball court not to far away from this beach.Can easily spend the entire day with plenty of activities. Our favourite was to watch the dogs enjoy the beach leash free.

Beautiful beach.

Amazing place to be on a sunny afternoon . The place is dog-friendly. Also great for exploring the crabs with the kids. No shower facilities no toilet, parking is easy. Not too busy during the school holidays which was nice. Spent the whole day here as the beach changes throughout the day. One of our favourite spots, very close to Batemans Bay.

We were visiting the area, staying at Moruya and a good friend of ours came across from Canberra and showed us around his childhood haunts. One of those was this secluded white sand beach at South Durras. Obviously known by the locals, there were a few fishermen here collecting bait and a couple walking along the beach. But apart from that there was no one around. This is the sort of beach that we love. It was a nice day. Pitty I didn't bring my togs as the surf looked so inviting. Being the first to write a review just shows that this is a well kept secret. Maybe I should have kept it that way ;)
