The Piercing Urge

I’ve come to TPU twice now and both times I’ve had an amazing experience. Today I was with Frankie and they were so thorough and knowledgeable, while also being incredibly supportive and kind. You can tell the team is super passionate about what they do. I will never go anywhere else.

The ladies were so helpful with my piercing that wasn't healing properly, they made sure the colour of the new jewellery matched what I was wearing and even switched out the piercing for me! AND they can re-use one I bought for any new piercings I get. While I was waiting I watched as one of the ladies helped curate another customers jewellery and they were SO excited on their behalf. Honestly can't wait to come back to get more!

Went in for my first piercing at The Piercing Urge today and it was an excellent experience. Adam was awesome - had so much time for us, made us feel completely comfortable, and was just fantastic. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

WORST PLACE EVER! Got my ear pierced and both sides were completely different! Rude staff. DO NOT GO THERE. ONE SODE OF MY EAR LOPE IS THE PIECED PART IS SO LOW DOWN,OTHER SIDE UP HIGH. Definitely not recommended!

If you're looking for the highest quality jewellery, immaculate hygiene standards, piercers willing to discuss your budget and boundaries (though it's worth the price) then I can't recc The Piercing Urge. Shout out to Daz for constant care and attention and to Suzanne for a bridge piercing so perfect it didn't migrate at all, even after 5 years.

Aidan, Frankie and all the other staff at The Piercing Urge were so lovely! Aidan in particular did my piercings, and did so in such a thorough, careful manner. He was super attentive and sat with me beforehand to ensure I had all my questions answered, conducted the piercing process efficiently with great attention to hygiene and made me feel incredibly comfortable throughout the whole process. He was able to take on suggestions and provide constructive feedback as to why certain placements would be better than others, and tackled my doubts in such a reassuring and informative way. I was nervous to switch to a new piercer but I'm so glad I did - Aidan is such a lovely individual, everyone is friendly and I won't go anywhere else.

I got my philtrum piercing done by Adam and it was defiantly the best piercing experience I have ever had. He was absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable during the whole process, Adam was extremely professional and friendly too !!!I am so happy with my piercing, And highly recommend Adam :)

My 9-year-old got their ears pierced here. I chose them because of their excellent policies around safety and consent (in contrast to other places where young children and even babies are pierced!). It was a great experience for my child, who said it was so fast that it didn't even hurt (until afterwards a little) - NO TEARS! The piercers (there were two, so that both sides could be done at once) focused entirely on my child and their wishes and spoke to them as a mature person making their own decision. After-care also excellent, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend for anyone with a child wanting ears pierced. Worth travelling for a professional service like this.

Frankie is absolutely amazing! I had unpleasant earlobes piercing experience previously at another place. A friend recommended the piercing urge so I decided to give it a try. I was anxious at the beginning but Frankie made it so smooth and stress free. She’s very professional, friendly and helpful. I just had my downsizing appointment today and it was done in no time without any discomfort. I would highly recommend her!
