MSR Collision Centre - Springwood

Its not the best panel beater, and handling of the car (dust and rubbish was left inside, vehicle mileage was bigger by around 200kms after the return of the car, battery was not charged during the long period of them holding the vehicle in their possession (shows the level of professionalism, not), vent to the cabin was not closed when it was painted and possibly when it was dried up, this led to smell inside afterwards and the real need to clean the aircon and replace the cabin filter, lots of other small issues were found later as well.) Overall 2.5 - 3 stars maximum. It is ..painted..and it has .. a different color now.. Can compare with others - not impressed..

For well over a month, dishonest and rude assessos working at msr for youi have delayed. Assessments taking time due to delays on pricing is fine but assessors lying about having the report done is unacceptable. Youi also have no interest in correcting the situation Avoid cheap and nasty service providers like youi and MSR

From the get go, the whole process to fix my car was awesome. Everyone was super friendly, professional and helpful. A shout out to Amy and Katherine who are so welcoming and helpful. They made the whole experience painless and stress free. They went above and beyond to make sure I knew what was going on and that I felt valued.The repairs were quick and look amazing! Unfortunately, we've had to deal with MSR more times than we'd like. But always, they've been friendly and professional. Through RACQ, we've let their team repair the same car a number of times (ironically, the same panels too). The repairs have come back perfect, paint matches are 100% even when the car comes from some fancy shmancy term like wildfire red". And always had the car returned on schedule. Thou hopefully

Absolutely terrible. Took my car for a paint job. Estimated time was a week to 10 days. It is now 24 days and every single day I receive different excuses as to why it is not ready. RACQ should not be recommending this repair shop to their customers. From Reception to the floor manager, they don't seem to have any idea as to what's going on. Stay away from this place. Unreliable.

Deserves 1 star:Vehicle went in with damage to the left side of the vehicle,That was done well.Other than that.-Overspray over the rear taillight-Fues box cover in the engine bay (all clips broken besides 1)-Passenger seat rail over (bent & pulled like no tomorrow) - stress marks are clear to see-battery cover behind the passenger seat (returned with a hole in it)-Passenger door was replaced (incorrect Actuator so the plug does not fit - Passenger door central locking does not work)-Prongs on the actuator 1 broken out of 6& the plug as 10 ports.-Damage to driver side door handle-Air bags were replaced (Airbag indicator on the dash stays on - (Codes weren’t re-written or Wiped)-Radiator (no coolant)-Fuel drained (returned empty)One week before in went in for repairs the vehicle had a Full servic, fluids, brakes, rotors machined etc.Communication nonexistent.Delays with no updates.Dates were promised but pushed back because a part wasn’t ordered or extra things are needed which weren’t in the area of damage, once again with no update.Waited 4, almost 5 months for the vehicle.Extremely Happy with the panel repairs but everything els listed above let it down.Communication is the Main Issue.Personally I wouldn’t return as I’m left now with a list of things to replace & do not plan on waiting as I’ve waited long enough for the panel repairs & uncertain how long they would take if I were to return based from what I have discovered from this experienceWould not recommend this repair company to anyone honestly.

So as RACQ only repairer, I reluctantly took my car there as no other repairer would deal with RACQ, after reading the reviews I was worried about the car coming back with issues, terrible worksmanship etc, and sure enough it happened, received my 2018 Ford ranger back and the front bar is a different shade of white, the radar cover in the front that they have invoiced RACQ for has not even been replaced still broken, the new front bar is scratched, bolts on the underside loose, bash plate not replaced. Absolutely no quality control coming out of this place and the reviews are all correct. I doubt any car would come out without any dramas, and to top it off its a 12 week wait to have the repairs rectified.
