Bad school. bullying is the worst and the teachers are awful towards the students. DO NOT RECOMEND

Iam a former pupil from back in the 1970's and have this school has always had a special place in my heart.I remember being on the footy team and versing Junction State School for the premiership. I also braved the winter weather for my 6am swimming class before school and have never regretted it. I was here all the way to grade six before moving on which i really didn't want to do because I didn't want to lose the school spirit and the friendships that I had frormed. The years might have changed but there is one thing for sure that never will and that is the school community spirit!!!

Kids are so happy at Morningside State School. They prefer no other place other than MSS. No need to boast about how a schools performance is and how it has increased the awesomeness of the school in so many ways and in addition, also contributing towards vital community expectations and great education, we love these children and parents at the same time. This time round, I'd check out the 'peg and line show', what a cracker of a school and show.

Hello my name is Trevor Grimley and my (late) father Harold and his sister Clara were students at Morningside State School in the 1920's and 30's and lived in Deviney St - My father won trophies with the boxing team as hard as it seems today, next door to my grandmother were the McVeity's 3 of the 4 sisters Jane, Penny and Mickey" aall went there in the 1960's and early 70's - Jane I believe became a teacher although I am not sure where. I have stumbled across the school by accident while looking for a place in South Africa while using my phone

I would like to report a bulling incident. Morning Side State School and Norman Park State School both had there year 6 after school farewell party at Morning Side Panther Club. It start when Morning Side State School began having a water fight with wet sponges. They began attacking NPSS students they also started to swear at NPSS students they didn't care about the younger siblings watching and they slowly began to get more physical they for example they tripped a child and pushed her into the floor. 10 to 15 different students from NPSS students came crying saying that Morning Side attacked them. NPSS students went to the other side of the oval to avoid Morning Side State School but they folowed NPSS and started recording NPSS jumped the fence to avoid the attack but a boy came out and started swearing at NPSS. Morning Side State School is an outrageously rude and disrespectful . The swear and hit and the teacher don't do anything.

Love this school I went to this school for 4 yrs and never had a dull moment teachers are amazing and supportive students are so much fun and nice I was an arts captain and always had many opportunities I hope this school can continue to grow and stays lit

In six years this school failed to identify that my son was dyslexic. In six years they taught him nothing. I will be going to the media about them since I have quantifiable increases of almost 4 years in six months teaching him phonics. Useless school, failing children daily. Paiddibg out their employment, misusing student funding and failing to educate because the teaching staff are mediocre doing a job not having a vocation or calling to education. Rot starts at the top.

Amazing school with fantastic teachers and staff. Perfect size for an inner city school. Plus their OSHC is used almost a third of the school - kids want to stay, play and learn. And a very active P&C.

It's all right, I am a media captain at this school (2019) and I am really happy with what I've achieved.

Poorest teaching standards. Cater for average students. No remedial teaching program and most mediocre uninspired staff. Cannon Hill Ss and Bulimba SS in close vicinity are both much better educational settings
