Part Time Ceramics - Taren Point
Part Time Ceramics is hands down the most incredible pottery studio around! I have bought their clay kits and joined three different wheel throw classes, a Christmas decorations class and hosted a group event with both hand building and wheel throwing and honestly could not fault the place. Amazing, friendly staff (especially Shiv and Sarah) with easy to follow instructions as a beginner and such a beautiful space. If you want to give pottery a go then look no further for the most stunning and supportive studio there is!

I have done 4 different courses with Part Time Ceramics and I love it. The team are so helpful and are great teachers.If you’re look for a new hobby, need a little me time or want something fun to do on the weekend I highly recommend booking a course with PTC. You’ll walk away happy I promise.

The Pottery & Procecco class at Part Time Ceramics was an absolute delight. Sarah's expertise and guidance made the creative process enjoyable for all skill levels, while the addition of Prosecco added a great touch. The studio's cool and inviting surroundings provided the perfect backdrop. With high quality materials and a friendly atmosphere, this class offers a unique and memorable experience. I highly recommend Sarah's class to anyone seeking something different with a group of friends or even alone. It's a fantastic way to unwind and create interesting pottery pieces. Thanks a bunch for a great night out.

Part Time Ceramics - Taren Point
I did a 4 week beginner wheel-throwing course at Part Time Ceramics back in November 2021, and later a hand-building course and I've been a member now for about a year. It's my absolute passion now to work with clay, and I enjoy it so much because I'm able to come to this beautiful studio each week. Shiv and her team are amazing. The studio is spacious, light and clean. The members are a supportive, kind bunch of people who are happy to share tips and knowledge. If you're keen on learning how to make with clay, give it a go!

Part Time Ceramics is a fabulous studio! I have taken several of their classes over the past two years. Siobhan and all her staff are extremely knowledgeable and make the classes relaxing and fun. The studio is very spacious, welcoming and a great place to be creative. I would highly recommend any of their classes!!

I came here for a four week beginners hand building class and never left- the place is just amazing. The studio is a beautiful place to spend time in. I love the teachers too, Shiv is a fountain of knowledge, Sara is a bright personality with lots of experience- also a wiz with the kids and Trent brings his years of experience to the classes with energy and enthusiasm. Highly recommend this place if you want to get creative, socialise and have lots of fun.

Loved the pottery class run by Sarah for our large group. We all had a great time & loved we got to take our master pieces home once dry.Would definitely recommend!

I love the beautiful studio and the resident pooch, Moby! The teachers are amazing - Shiv and Trent in particular. I have taken several courses (and will be doing more) and am now a member of PT Ceramics. Could not recommend more highly!

Fabulous pottery studio. I did the ‘Prosecco and pottery’ class today with 3 friends - a brilliant 2 hour session. Sarah was a great instructor and helped us create some fabulous pots. Thank you for the great time! Would strongly recommend this beautiful venue!
