Hills Heating & Cooling

Reached out on Saturday and Marty was able to fit me in on Monday morning due to a cancellation. He found the fault very quickly and repaired the issue. Friendly guy, will definitely use hills heating & cooling again when the time comes.

I can't recommend Hills Heating & Cooling enough. I booked Marty at the busiest time of the year, and he was able to slot me in a week later. His quote was also one of the best. Marty and his son are good, honest, hard-working folk, who did a thoroughly professional and efficient job. When your dog wraps himself up in his blanket at night, you know its a good outcome!

We bought our Westcott heater from Marty about 2 years ago. Despite the limited supply situation (COVID...) pricing for both the heater as well as installation was reasonable. Communication was great all along and the installation carried out very professionally. Recently one of the doors windows broke and Marty changed the glass free of charge despite it being out of warranty. Very happy with the overall experience, needless to say I highly recommend doing business with them!

Dreadful customer service, the individual I spoke with was dismissive, arrogant and it was clear my business was not wanted. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Marty accused me of leaving a review on his shop, when it was left by someone else. Marty even threatened me with a defamation lawsuit.Quite frankly that is insane behaviour.Marty doesn't like me because I point out in various places that wood stoves make wood smoke pollution and wood smoke pollution kills people. Marty can't handle the truth.Wood stoves need to be banned. Over 70% of NSW adults (from a survey of over 25,000) in 2021 want a full ban on wood burning.Marty here you go, now I have written a review on your terrible shop. You are unprofessional and you are a science denier. Take your legal threat and put it truly up your jacksie.Please everyone, woodstoves are going to be banned in Perth. If you are silly enough to install one you will have to remove it soon. Get a clean way to heat your home. Reverse cycle A/C aka heatpumps are the way to go. Don't buy a woodstove from the unprofessional Marty.Update - Marty is now making the standard claim that new stoves meet emission claims, but aftermarket testing has shown that real world emissions greatly exceed claimed laboratory testing. The stove industry commits serial fraud in this regard. The AHHA has a play book on how to deflect warranted criticism. The AHHA and it's members are all frauds.Each wood stove in the community is hundreds of times too polluting to be used. The emissions standards are inadequate and the testing regime is a joke.Go on sue me now Marty. Want to defend your fraudulent claims in court?

Cannot recommend these guys any higher! From the help and recommendations for choosing the right heater for our home, to the actual installation, the service has been second to none. Such reasonable prices, careful but quick installation, helpful advice, and thorough clean-up afterwards. We'll certainly be back in touch when it's time for maintenance, and they will be at the forefront of our mind when we require help with cooling in the hotter months! :)

After our evap broke down in the middle of one of our hottest weeks Marty came out to investigate, quote and provide options. 3 days later we are sitting in the cold after on time, friendly trades finished the job one after another as promised. 5+ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ without hesitation!!

marty had been great to deal with since the day we walked in the showroom. he provided sound advice on what fire would suit our needs and on the day of install it went very smoothly and we couldn't be happier with our new heater! highly reccomend hills heating and cooling!!

I honestly can’t recommend Marty highly enough. He is probably the nicest trades-person I’ve ever met. He is professional, kind, efficient and the product is as good as you can get! 10 stars!
