When I first came to Dorine, I was trying many things, looking for something that would help me on my healing journey. I had symptoms of a burnout and generally felt stuck in my life. This was expressing in my body through tenseness, shallow breath, anxiety, ... I had never heard of Cranio but Dorine’s professional website and qualifications appealed to me.When I first met Dorine, I felt immediately at ease. Her professional and empathetic presence creates a safe space instantly. The energy of the room and the music contribute to this as well.In the beginning I saw Dorine every 2 weeks. I felt very relaxed after every session although for a while my strong and critical mind tried to keep me from fully surrendering to the experience. Because I intuitively felt that something profound was happening l, I didn’t give up. After some sessions I suddenly felt a big shift in my chest. All of a sudden I could breath deeper than I ever was able to before! This was amazing! I could not believe that such soft method could have such a giant effect! And this was just the beginning!!! After that Dorine also fixed occasional knee pain in just one session.But the biggest thing that really got me hooked to the therapy happened later, when I started to see Dorine every week and surrendering more and more to her hands. I really experienced how trauma is stored in our bodies when I had a very powerful cathartic release of an early childhood trauma. After that session I felt like a different person altogether, lighter and happier.Dorine is a wonderful practitioner. She is a healer on every level and her hands are magical. She is very experienced and intuitive and I recommend her to everyone!And if you are a very heady and critical person like me, I recommend to give it a good try, so the therapy finds a way to trespass your mind guard until you feel like you can fully surrender to the process.
