Great converted Dutch barn with a hot tub. Secluded, quiet and warm inside. Great place to get introduced to the local bird wildlife too!

One of the most beautiful places I have stayed at . Lovely wildlife outside , great views , everything you need . Thank you Tim for making our stay wonderful!

Although we didn't get to stay due to my broken arm, Tim was very understanding and didn't hesitate to refund our money.We will try again soon.

Have stayed in Heavenly Retreat and Heavenly Escape (this one) they are both top places to stay in. My wife and I will not stay anywhere else when we visit halls gap, the owners are great people and they really look after you. It's a great quiet getaway that is tough to beat on price and quality. Thumbs up guys!!!

Awesome place to stay, fully self-contained and in walking distance to town. Kangaroos, wild birds, deer k came for a visit.Highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic

We had a great time here and will definitely be back. I’m very picky about my bed and was a bit nervous as I read a review that the bed was firm. The bed was perfect, firm but soft at the same time. Lovely and cosy. There’s a heater which works well, a fireplace and an oil heater for the bathroom which I thought was a nice touch. I absolutely love the decor of the house, beautiful colours, high ceilings and wood beams. We had all sorts of birds come visit us which was nice and I loved the $10 voucher we could use at the bakery. The Lindt raspberry chocolate was also very nice! The only issue we had was when turning on the spa jets, the water became covered with chunky brown bits. We refilled the spa a couple times and let’s the nets run but still couldn’t get rid of it. That was the only disappoint aspect as it would have been bliss to run the spa jets.we were able to still enjoy the tub (just didn’t use the jets).

Quaint cabin surrounded by trees, fully equipped with anything you can think of!Timothy, the host, was quick to respond to my queries and provided me with lots of useful recommendations around what to do and what to eat in and around the area.We spent most of our holiday out and about so it was nice to come back in the evening to a place that was clean, comfortable and warm (despite it being cold and dreary outside) it made the holiday more relaxing! The couch was super comfortable, and it’s positioned perfectly so you can enjoy the view of the trees or watch one of the many movies Timothy has made available to watch (not to mention the music! I was impressed with the chillwave playlist- right up my alley)The bed was also very comfortable and cosy!All in all it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay there again.. especially after having two kangaroos come up to our doorstep- it was probably the best part of our trip

Very nice accommodations in Hall's Gap. Quiet, lots of animal sightings, and great communication from host.
