The Blues Train

Overall a great experience. All four acts were amazing, but Kelly Auty and Jarrod Shaw were outstanding. Very entertaining. Only criticism would be that the food wasn't quite up to standard and seemed an incredibly labour intensive exercise for not the best result re quality. Appreciate it's difficult to feed that many people on mass, however it would be better to reduce the price a little, have a few food trucks on site prior to departure for people to buy their own dinner and then let the show itself do all the talking. But overall, I would still recommend.

Had an absolute ball. The bands were mostly fantastic. The food was great especially given the number of people. Drinks were not cheap but that’s to be expected (captive audience). Will be back for a fourth time.

A unique way to experience a night out with live entertainment and a meal, thankfully the weather was kind although cold did not rain or lining up for the bar would not have been a pleasant experience. Moving from carriage to carriage at each stop was seamless, would have loved the music brackets to have been longer, just a suggestion eat in one carriage and music in the other 3. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the night thank you.

A fun night out! 4 carraiges, 4 blues acts and good vibes! Other passengers were up for a chat, food was good, buffet style, drinks to purchase and you can buy your own ice bucket to carry your drinks around with you for the night. If you like a party you can get up and dance as the train rolls on, which is a great time, or you can sit back and enjoy the music. We stayed at the Vue Grande just a short walk to the train and enjoyed a lazy breakfast in Queenscliff the next morning. Perfect for a date night or take some friends down for a fabulous fun weekend away! Highly recommend The Blues Train.

Great venue for live blues music, 4 carriages, pulled by a steam train, each with a different band. We had free entry as part of the Victorian government live music initiative. If you are looking for an amazing and different music and dining experience, then you need to book into The Blues Train.

Wow , what a wonderful night of music & fun. The best night out in wonderful Queenscliff, beautiful food , wine & marvellous music. You have go to believe it

Blues train ran like a train on time. Tasty food, good range of grog and excellent music.

Our group of 4 enjoyed a Saturday night Blues Train experience. It was a very cold night but fortunately we did not have to wait long to board our carriage. While we waited our turn to be called to the buffet meal, we were able to purchase our drinks for the first part of the evening. There are some negatives about this experience and one is that we could not bring our own water on board and had to pay $5 for a bottle of water. I didn't mind that there was no BYO for alcoholic drinks but think the policy on water should change. The buffet had more than enough food for everyone. It's quite a crowd, 208 passengers if fully booked which it was that night. The food is fairly average - good quality but certainly not fine dining. Although you could go back for seconds, I did not feel inclined to eat more. The quality of the wine available was OK. Eventually the train was underway and we spent the next 3.5 hours enjoying 4 different blues entertainers. Each was quite different but all exceptionally enjoyable. The 2 bands really got the passengers energised and there was a lot of dancing and singing in the carriages that had room for this. During the second act that we enjoyed, there was one person who appeared to have drunk too much and was spoiling the experience for others who wanted to enjoy the music or dance without interference. At the next station break that individual disappeared and I hope that it was management security that took the initiative to remove him. So there were some negatives but I have to rate the total experience as a 5/5 - it is really unique and a fun time. My taste in music is broad but I could enjoy the focus on blues.

Was a fantastic night from start to finish! Hugos introduction at the gates was great! And explained pretty well just how the night would run. All the staff; Security, Bar, & Catering, were super friendly and helpful. They clearly love their job as they always had a smile on their dials. Food was delish and the Music??, well that was outstanding! We ate, drank and boogied the night away! Would highly recommend a ride on the Blues Train 10/10
