Taste Food Tours

I went on the Taste of the World tour in Liverpool with some friends and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was lots of delicious food for us to taste and our lovely guide gave us plenty of information about everything we tried. It was so nice to have someone show us around. I love that this company is a social enterprise and that by supporting them they’re able to assist others. I’d happily recommend them and look forward to doing a different tour another time.

Taste of Ramadan - Lakemba. Our Guide Noor treated our group to a wonderful evening of bright conversation and excellent food tasting from a range of Middle Eastern and S-E Asian cuisines. The walk through the festive streets of Lakemba provided a happy backdrop for our Taste Tour. Highly recommended!

We did the Afghanistan & Syrian tour last week. Having had a few other food experiences some years ago I thought I knew what to expect but this was by far my favourite tour! If you’re not sure which food company and tour to do in Sydney choose this one! Sahar our guide (and business owner) was the perfect mix of truly local knowledge,, genuine interest and joy in sharing her experience and hidden gems with you and knew everything there was to know about the places we visited. The restaurant, cafe and market owners were very warm and inviting and we visited 7 locations altogether. The best part was that no one ever felt rushed but not were we sitting around. A perfect pace and we left with very full bellies! So many opportunities to purchase items if of interest but no pressure whatsoever if you wanted to just wander along without buying extra things. I’ll definitely do another tour with this company, can’t recommend them enough and happy knowing the guides are refugees and migrants of the cuisines they are sharing so you’re supporting a small business who are giving opportunities to locals.

I recently went on the Afghanistan & Syrian tour in Merrylands with Mum family (great birthday present by the way!). Our host was very knowledgeable and also entertaining. Many interesting stops and not just restaurants. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing tour ...tried so many times to get on this very popular tour and finally made it .Noor was a wonderful guide with a delightful sense of humour...pls ask for her if you canIt was my husbands birthday and she went out of her way to make sure he had a special day .Great group of people .Thankyou so much x

I did the Cabra food tour with Patrick Young (a local of Cabramatta) which ran for about 3.5 hours. Would recommend this tour if you want to familiarise yourself with popular Vietnamese food or if you've just moved into Cabramatta and would like to know the hot spots in the area.A great thing about the tour is that you get to try bits and pieces of different restaurants and Patrick explains what you're eating and a bit about its origin in Vietnam. We did the Chinatown tour and our tour guide Tae was amazing, she has a lot of knowledge and gave us such a great experience. It was a lot of food but learned a lot and really enjoyed the food, especially supporting smaller businesses. Highly recommended. Have also done the cabramatta one before whoch was also good

Sahar was our guide on a delicious, fun and super interesting food tour of Liverpool today. We tried Macedonian, Indian, Serbian, Lebanese, Fijian and Iraqi delicacies during the tour including Burek, donuts, olives, Cassava chips, mango lassi and other treats. While eating all the nummies we also learned about the culture and history of Liverpool and its history of migration. So informative and mind-expanding. Such a fantastic way to learn about the truly diverse nature of Sydney. Highly recommended.
