Animal Referral Hospital Gosford Central Coast - Pet Emergency

A huge thank you to ARH Gosford for taking amazing care of Finn when he had to have emergency surgery overnight. As a first time cat parent it was a really stressful experience but I was kept updated the entire time and I also appreciated that they were very upfront about all the costs involved. All the staff were absolutely beautiful and I’m so glad he was in such good hands while he was unwell. Thank you so much ❤️

Very professional.They were wonderful when we took our very sick cat there late at night. They were compassionate and caring and were very helpful in guiding us through the difficult process of saying goodbye to our much loved Cat.

Just wanted to give a massive shout out to the team at ARH, Gosford. We've taken our rescue pug here twice now. Once, which was a false alarm and the second time she had an allergic reaction to an insect bite. I honestly don't know what we'd do if we didn't have these guys close to us. They are professional, remain calm and most importantly see our dog within minutes of being there. If people come on here to complain about the cost of an emergency vet, please ignore it. Its a life or death situation and money does not factor into your loved one! Please be kind ❤️

I want to express mine and from the whole our family gratitude to the team for saving life of our rottweiler Cherry. We arrived late evening not knowing what to expect and our dog ended up in surgery for the whole night. We were told that her condition is very serious and success chance was very low. We almost lost her. Now she's recovering, eating, playing and being herself again, for me this speaks of a quality of job done. For 5 days and nights she stayed at the hospital I think we've met everyone who works there. Everyone was patient and supportive, every question was answered, every procedure explained. Even our countless phone calls never left unanswered to our satisfaction. Today we went there for the check up and I was afraid that the dog would be afraid to go back to the place she had a lot of pain. But she wag her tail and happy went with the nurse inside. Thank you so much, we are so impressed with such level of the professionalism. This is the place we will go with our pets in emergency and will recommend to everyone.PS Added pictures. I cannot recommend ARH more highly. They worked around the clock and saved our beautiful dog.I received daily updates, sometimes even twice a day. All the vet nurses e. and doctors were caring, considerate and empathetic. Nothing was too much trouble. We were allowed to see him every day and give him a cuddle.They loved our dog as we would love him and I’m sure this also made a huge difference in his recovery.We feel it is a miracle our beautiful boy Koda is still alive.We have also visited here when our other BC was stung by a bee and we received the same immediate, professional and genuine loving care.Well done to the ARH Team you are magnificent!

I am incredibly grateful to the whole team here for the great care my labrador Cleo experienced at ARH.They were very thorough, compassionate and understanding - the patience and helpfulness of staff every time I called (while Cleo was in their care and after I took her home) was above and beyond (despite it taking time out of their important work, I was never rushed in my questions and never charged for this invaluable part of her care). They were very clear and upfront about costs and even handled the lodging of my pet insurance claim (note: this has already paid for itself several times over from just one incident). It was also great to get a handover from the vet when picking her up and I felt comfortable asking more questions which speaks to how approachable but knowledgeable the vets here are.

I've had to take my Staffy to the Emergency Vet on 3-4 occasions over the last two years. The last time was Christmas Day 2021! The staff have always been super friendly and calming which is especially great when you're panicking about your pet. Even though the staff were working on Christmas, they were still wonderful and happy to be there. I don't know why my dog always decides to get sick at night when the regular vet is closed but I am ever grateful that the emergency Vet at West Gosford has always been there.
