I loved the retro feel of this place. The food and service was great and the staff are fantastic for a chat. There is a lot of memorabilia to look at and enjoy too. Some can be purchased.

I've been here a few times. Called at 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered a burger and a banana smoothie. Had the Burger before, nice size patty a d very nice. Disappointment was the smoothie. I don't believe a banana was hurt in the making of my $9, I believe, beverage.Left it behind as it tasted like one of those banana lollies. Will I come back? I certainly will. Maybe try a hot dog next time, but I will stick to a Coke. Great ambience and heaps to admire. Staff friendly and 1 chap being trained is nice to see rather than being thrown to work it out by themselves.

When I intially entered this diner, I was blown away by the ambience, collectables and memorabilia. The attention to detail was incredible. I was in awe, taking photographs of the amazing displays. Unfortunately, while I was enjoying such a fantastic place, I was bluntly told by the female owner, that she only allows a few photographs. Perhaps she thought I was casing the joint, instead of my intent being to share with my friends and family such a mind blowing space of 50s memorabilia. And to promote the incredible job they had done. I felt like a child being reprimanded. Sadly, that experience did dampen my spirit and joy for the diner. Perhaps I should have deleted my photos and just took one long video? Not sure what her problem was. I have noticed many photos in other reviews.Nevertheless, the waitress was very friendly and took the time to answer our questions about some of the memorabilia from America. She was very proud of the work done there and what her employer had achieved.I won't be going back there again though. A pity as I will be around and would have made it a regular place to dine.

This diner is decorated in the best way possible, best we have seen for the theme! We had some burgers here which were delicious and huge, but we felt like it didn’t have the American 50s diner vibe we were wanting, it felt more like pub food, though it was still very yummy and it’s worth it for the cool atmosphere. The prices were reasonable also. Great milkshakes!! They are only opened certain days , check online to double check when.“Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

If you would like to experience what America is like then go and check out the ambience of this shop. The memorabilia that has been acquired by the owners is fabulous. Sadly the food was not what we had experienced during our 12 months stay in the USA, but I can say that I enjoyed their berry smoothie.
