Waitpinga Beach
Great beach for surf fishing and surfing. Not so great for swimming as it can be rather treacherous at times.

Great secluded beach. No dogs as in conservation park and the hooded plovers nest here - see photo. Toilets at the car park.

Plenty of car parks with toilet. Also if your a keen fishing man or woman there a lots of gutters to fish. Definitely a family friendly spot for all ages. And by some of the conversation I had there is some good Australia salmon and mullet been caught here. I will be back with my family and fishing gear.

One of the best beaches down south for fishing! The toilets need an update, but other than that everything else is great.

Big, beautiful clean beach. Used to go surf fishing here at sunset and pull in double headers of Australian salmon. Rough for swimming, there were warnings of potential dangerous rips but a few surfers head there to try their luck.

Good fishing spot with plenty of sand for the kids to play on too. We caught a small amount of fish but it wasn't the best weather when we went. The walk down to the beach isn't too steep. I was able to carry my 2 year old down without too much difficulty.

Beautiful beach with native plovers. Nice walk through the sand dunes.

Waitpinga Beach
Just one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia, simple as that! It is great to see a National Park which does not charge access fees. It is sad to see that the camping area remains restricted to tents only and is therefore empty most of the time.

Easy drive to the large carpark. beach access is over a bridge or long walk along a sandy path. When we visited, the whole week was was wet and windy. The beach was empty but for a lone fisher.Waitpinga Creek carved a different path, running along the beach halfway to the carpark. Walking along the shore we found a lagoon.
