We went here for Thursday night Italian night. It was pathetic. There was 3 pastas, 2 pizzas and one chicken cacciatore. Then the antipasto selection.I tried the Bolognaise and it tasted like it was out of a jar, there was no herbs, no garlic, no onion.. just bland. The 2 pizzas were like you'd get in the frozen section at Aldi.Save your money and go to a real Italian restaurant or try the restaurant upstairs.I've never given a bad review before but this was disappointing especially as its at the casino where you'd expected higher standards.

Am so disappointed with the Italian Buffet night. Just wasted our money and left being disgusted with it all. Those chefs who cooked that ought to be ashamed of themselves to call that food. Where is the variety? I am speechless. That was not a buffet. That was three or four hot disgusting choices. Pizza was awful and was handled by one of the chefs with no gloves on. Deserts were just a wet soggy mess. Chocolate mousse had water in the bottom of it. Macaroons were wet and soggy on the bottom. And the list goes on. Was looking forward to ending my holiday and stay of The Ville with a lovely dinner with my husband but instead this has left a very sour taste in my mouth about the whole place after being served this slop. DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOUR A STAY RIGHT AWAY FROM THE PALM HOUSE. If I could leave no stars I would.

Although a lovely venue with a selection of foods on offer, I was disappointed to see not so many allergy friendly options. I’m usually not fussed at all, however $60 entry to only be able to eat the roast potatoes and fruit bar was upsetting. With such a nice range of food I’m sure in the future you could organise a few more items either labelled clearly or that cater for a larger variety of diets not just seafood and meat.

The last few times that I have eaten there, the Oysters were very bland in taste, The spanner crabs had no taste at all (don't know why ), prawns were small, but very nice. The bowls (to put seafood scraps in), on the tables could be a lot bigger. Still a pleasure to dine there, apart from those few things.

Went for dinner on a Thursday night, not many people in our party eat seafood, hence why we opted for a non-seafood night. The options for dinner were minimal. Pizza, pasta and cold processed meats with a salad bar. I remember pre covid with the steak cookery, roast meats and extras. This is not what we had hoped for dinner. The desserts were ok and the icecream dispenser was not working. Above average servers, but 1 chef to supervise the food was a bit of a joke. We had 16 in our party, It wasn't what we expected or value for money. I just saw carbohydrates to fill you up at minimal cost. Not happy with our experience. Also bought drinks via the qr code, but found out that sparkling water is available on tap next to the still water, but there is a out of service tag on it, so that you have to buy sparkling water. Deceptive marketing perhaps????

$65 for the buffet. It was a bad choice of venue to go to.Didn't feel like it was value for money.A lot of items were not refilled when I went up. I'm not the type of person who keeps going back up to check if it has been restocked yet. Feels a little beggy.Like I said. It was a bad choice of venue. I'm sure if you have a big appetite, this place would be for you.

Word can not describe my experiences here. The food, staff and feel within the Palm House was simply the best. We were here for dinner celebrating two special birthdays and will be back for the $20 locals breakfast this week. Supporting local is always the best idea.
