Spinifex Hotel

During my recent stay at this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation. While they were essentially dongas, they were well-furnished with modern amenities such as a new TV, a comfortable bed, a couch, and a washing machine. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus.Although the WiFi was a little slow at times, it was still sufficient for basic tasks like checking emails and streaming Netflix. And when I wanted to unwind after a long day, I found the hotel's pub to be a great option. The food was tasty, particularly the steak, and the variety of beers was impressive. Yes, the beers were a little pricey, but that's to be expected in this area.The servers at the pub were friendly and welcoming, as were the locals. It was nice to chat with them and get a sense of the community. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in the area. While it may not be a five-star hotel, it's a great option for those who are looking for a clean and well-furnished place to rest their head after a long day on the road.

Was my second time stay in this Hotel. Definitely their service improved a lot compared to last year. Not a five star hotel but this time it was a 5 star service. A welcome letter!! Nice view rooms. Ish!! You guys are fabulous!!

Busy Venue. Fabulous staff & management. Specially the young man at reception is just an amazing person. Was a bit worried about let check in but he was still there!! deserves a big hand for looking after us.Thanks Spinifex

A welcome drink was had here after a fairly gruelling trip down the Gibb River road with every day 39 degrees! Our fault as probably a little late in the season. Also a good meal in the pleasant restaurant.

We had an overnight stay at the Spinifex Hotel. I had to make a change to our booking and communication was great. The hotel is centrally located. Our room was clean and tidy with all facilities used in working order. Carpark is secure. Staying within close proximity to the pub was not an issue, the pub was quiet. The food at the pub for both dinner and breakfast hit the spot and the service was awesome.I definitely recommend staying at the spinifex Hotel.

Many have described this establishment as 'quirky' due to the appearance and varied sizes of the rooms. My wife and I had a good time here with a great room with spa bath and the dining experience was excellent. Great food and service, plus the manager Anthony was a top bloke who really looks after his customers.

Nice amenity but staffing a problem. Most likely due to general shortage. Dont expect English as a first language or daily cleaning.

Staff are friendly but owner leases rooms to the government so breakins to rooms and cars, violence, vandalism and people constantly asking you to buy them drinks
