I love these guys...5 bucks for a James squire 50 lashes everyday...the most tender and tasty rump steak and roast vegetables only 22 bucks...the best publicans ever made you feel so welcomed and the patrons ...just brilliant seeing their wonderful personalities and their fantastic stories...I highly recommend this tavern...thankyou Teri...your beautiful

What a fantastic tavern. One of the best managed and greatest value bars we have visited. Terri and her partner took over this pub a few years ago and they have done an amazing job with turning it around into the popular and profitable tavern it is today. We couldn't believe it when we saw most pints are only $5 each and that is all day every day. Then to top that off, they even had Somersby cider on tap for $5 a pint as well. How good is that. So we settled in for the afternoon to drink cider and play games of pool, only to find out that the pool table is free to play too. No wonder this bar is full of happy, helpful and friendly locals. So we sat there chatting to Terri and the locals for ages and had a ball. Loved the place and will definitely be back for a feed next time as everyone says the pizzas and food are great too. A must visit if you are in the area.

I have had my fair share of pub meals with varying degrees of satisfaction but by far Boulders Tavern has surpassed them all, wonderful meals (I’ve had about six different ones) and great friendly service, do yourself a favour.

Lovely staff, cheap drinks, and some of the best garlic bugs we've ever had. Wed take a day trip to Babinda from Cairns just for that dish. Overall we had a great experience here and felt very welcome.

Sat close to the window. Ordered the Pork Belly and the Berry Panna Cotta. Pork Belly was delicious and the side salad and chips fresh and crunchy. The Panna Cotta was hard and rubbery but had good flavour.

The tavern was pleasant enough, but because of a downturn in trade due to Covid, the kitchens are not open early in the week. As a traveller this was a bit disappointing, but the beer was good, and very well priced.
