Carriers Arms Hotel Motel

Food is pretty good but is overpriced. Burgers were good, chicken schnitzel was as well, and the meals are large. Rib Fillet steak was up there but not $50 good, more like $30-35.

Had an awesome lunch with a group of friends. Meals came out relatively quick, the quality of the food was great and the staff were very nice and friendly. Only downside was parking was a little poor

Did not use rooms.Food is normally quite good, roast, pizza etc.But disappointed with the chicken schnitzel.It used to be made with actual fresh chicken but they changed to some compressed rubbish that was awful. Still charged the same amount though.Recommend asking if schnitzel is fresh chicken before buying.Maybe they had complaints and went back, we can only hope.

February special is this $18 hotdog , it’s probably one of the worst meals I have attempted to eat . Onion rings were to oily to eat , the bread roll fell apart when trying to pick it up . Chips had melted cheese that was cold by the time they served it . The only thing that was edible was the kabana ( not even a Frankfurt )

I stayed a couple of nights in the Motel and had dinner every night in the Bistro. Red hot tip don’t miss steak night.

Here’s a quick recap on my 5 star experience Friendly staff, checking in was fast and easy with very good directions to my room and parking right near the door. Rooms are extremely clean and up to date, everything is EASY TO USE, tv air con etc it really is idiot proof with a great selection of movies and everything Foxtel had to offer. Handy facilities like pool and more importantly for me laundry facilities after rocking up with nearly all dirty clothes after a weeks work. 10 second walk to cold drinks and amazing food. If you like ribs the Smoked Pork Ribs are a must. Couldn’t fault it, great experience. Thanks

We usually enjoy our meals at the Carriers but yesterday I took my elderly uncle for a meal and I was absolutely dismayed at the response given by management for a special meal request. $30 for 6 tiny crumbed prawns and some chips for a 78 year old pensioner with cancer who can't eat big meals and who rarely gets out of the house? We ended up sharing a seafood basket and the Carriers lost money that I would have paid for another meal. We won't be back until you start treating pensioners better. Disappointed 100%.

The 3/4 hour sleep we managed to get was inbetween listening to the caterwauling from the evicted patrons trying to keep everything going in the carpark, and waiting for another genius to bash on the door to see if anyone else wants to keep partying. Not too sure if it’s a reflection on late night drunken halfwitt mentality, or the outcome of not having any security people present. So do not stay in a room with a single digit on busy nights. Pretty sure the ones around the other side would have been a different story, but for the ones that open up to the carpark outside the entry/exit doors - it’s like a phukken warzone from about 11:00pm to 3:30am ….

Dinner at the Carriers tonight, hands down best food yet! Seafood basket was sublime, worth the wait, food cooked to perfection. Wonderful friendly staff always make it worth while

The motel...superb...Mtel staff friendly and awesome. The bistro...not so much... wanting city prices for basics....$38 steak and no table service...the only reason I bump this down is food cost..
