Shires Family Removals

Shire Family Removals were great. We had a very difficult move from two two-storey houses with a steep block. The two removalists Brad and Kuki worked tirelessly all day. The were extremely hard working and a pleasure to deal with.

I recently used these guys to move from Beverley Park to Miranda. All was good with the exception that they did not have electric drills. The result of this was that a lot of time was wasted in dismantling and then putting furniture back together again on the other end. When you are paying by the hour you would expect that the appropriate tools would be available when doing the job

I used Shire family removals for a pretty hectic move. Had the pleasure of Pauly and Tim and one big truck to help make the process a dream. The work hard and carefully navigating lots of challenges with ease and true professionalism. Moving is such a stress and these guys made it a lot easiser. Could not be happier.PW

Want removalists? Use this company. I am not easily impressed but Dammo, Tim and Anthony were the A-team. Relocation from Sydney to the Illawarra. On time, went like the clappers, 2-storey house with steep driveway they had to walk up and down for hours. Not one bit of damage from 4 bedroom house. These men were ASTOUNDING, sweating and working like there was not tomorrow to save me money". Honestly

Moved house with Shire Family Removals. Damo and Dennis were absolute professionals. Arrived on time, had all the gear, were very careful with their handling and carriage of goods and overcame any obstacles involved in moving furniture into some tricky spots. Highly recommended.

We used Shire Family Removals recently to move from Botany to Gymea, and couldn't be happier. They arrived on time, took care to cover and secure our items, and never stopped working. I would definately use them again, and would thoroughly recommend them.

Shire Family removals turned up to the Matthew Flinders building to move a tenants belongings. They parked part way over the visitor parking driveway entrance. A member of the strata committee advised the removalists that all furniture needed to be removed through the garages. They ignored this request. When asked a second time they suggested the committee member find something else to complain about. They were rude and I will advise resident owners not to be using them in the future.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you all at Shire Family Removals. This is a true family run business. We used both the storage facility as well as the removalist service. No request was too hard (trust me I had a few!). The storage facility was cleaned and secure and the removalists were careful and considerate of our belongings to ensure that no damage was done.We have really appreciated that nothing was a problem and that our needs were definitely satisfied. Your service is impeccable and the removalists are brilliant.You deserve 6 stars and will be the only company we would ever use. We have used others where furniture has been destroyed and they huffed and puffed with no willingness to go the extra mile - you won’t find this with Shire Family Removals!

I actually really liked this company until they damaged a chest of drawers of mine. I cannot ascertain whether the drawers were damaged whilst in storage at their facility (for many months) or upon moving, but there are now scratch marks and indents in my chest of drawers that I can only assume came from the move. All I know is that my chest of drawers was perfect before leaving it in their care and now I am out of pocket $500 to fix these drawers and due to their poor communication surrounding my rights and entitlements regarding insurance, I have no cover. If you want poor communication and damaged goods, use this company. Very disappointed with the service offered.
