First impressions make all of the difference and these guys really stand out! I rang Sussex St Garage and provided Daniel with an overview of my problem, despite being flat out and 3 days out from XMAS they were happy for me to bring my car in and diagnose. Upon arriving, the guys were very friendly and looked at my car pretty quickly (even though the garage was full). Problem diagnosed, parts sourced, quote issued, job going ahead. Very professional.Best customer service experience I've had at a mechanic for some time. Well done Daniel and Darren, and thanks!

Great family run business! I've been going there for 2 years now with 2 different cars. The guys always look after me, remember my car as soon as I call so I don't have to give any details. They fit me in quickly and have great recommendations for other services (like upholstery repairs in the car).I get my car washed next door after the service. They take it in and pay for it and I just pay them when I pick it up that night.One time, they needed to keep the car longer than expected. They offered me their own cars to drive and when I declined, took the price of my ubers there and back off my bill!When I took my old car in for a RWC, they did the assessment free of charge and provided me with a fair quote.

I had loads of anxiety when it came to fixing my car and this team looked after me so well. Great service, friendly, a good price and a quick fix. Will definitely make this my local mechanic for the future

Super Dodgy!Long story short. Went in for a simple drivers side front wheel bearing change on a front wheel drive car. Had numerous amounts of bearing changed over the years. Provided the bearing which I purchased from Repco 30 mins prior. Quoted me $170 for the bearing change which was $60 more than the usual guy I go too, but I needed done. This was the only shop available near me on the day that was free(BIG RED FLAG). Every other shop was roughly a week before they could do the work. Ended up costing me $500 all up! He installed the bearing and the and the ABS light came up on the dash. Blamed me for providing him with a bad bearing. I told him it was because he put the bearing back to front. Didn't want a bar of it. Ended charging me for another bearing that he provided and the additional labour. $500's later haven't been back since. Shame on you! Do Not use these guys! They will rip you off, and smile while they're doing it. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I highly recommend this guarage. They fixed my tyre punch within 5 mins free of charge when I was in a trouble. Much appreciated and highly recommended. Very friendly crew. Thank you so much.

The guys serviced my VE & fixed my leaking problem, if your VE carpet gets wet when it rains go see these guys! Awesome crew, I highly recommend them!

I've been ripped off by a few mechanics for lack of car knowledge, but these guys are genuine. Big thanks to Daniel & the team for taking care of me today. Will be back in future & recommending this shop to friends.

THESE GUYS ACTUALLY CAME OUT AND GOT ME STARTED WHEN STRANDED!I can't believe that Darren came and rescued me, restored a lot of faith in mankind my good man.I literally had received the car from having major work done only to have the starter motor fail the next day in 30° weather. I tried my own mechanic but he was unavailable so I called the nearest mechanic which was Sussex Street Garage and Darren didn't hesitate to come with Dave and rescue me.Thank you sincerely Darren and the team you guys a true legends.

Darren and Daniel and the rest of the Sussex Garage team saved our trip / holiday. Our good old van had multiple problems and they really went out of their way to help us out; Darren even came in on his day off to help! And all of this for such a small price, literally 3 times lower than what we would have expected based on former experiences with Australian garages.
