Decor was nice, music was fun, but tacos were average. Felt like it was something I whipped up in my inexperienced kitchen, not a highly rated taco place.***Review edit***We ordered these tacos:1. Karate- was ok but we still felt flavour was lacking. The slaw just tasted like undressed lettuce2. Tiki prawn. Sauce wasn't flavourful enough to make the whole thing bind together.3. Pulled pork. Was ok but still didn't have a Mexican flavour to it. The pineapple salsa didn't add much to the taco.4. Jack fruit- Bland and didn't have any spice flavour to it. Was a bit watery?5. Chorizo haloumi. Dry and lacking sauce.The above details were provided to the owners.

The team environment at Newy beach burrito is enviable. These guys run a tight ship, with some of the best customer service I’ve ever had. 10/10 on all aspects, also the employees are heaps fit x

4 Stars! My partner and I arrived here and it was already quite full but one of the waiters squeezed us in a table which was really great considering we had traveled a far distance to get there. My partner ordered two tacos, and so did I. Plus these spicy Mexican style chips. The food was REALLY good. The meat was so juicy, flavourful tasted authentic. And for vegans there are plenty of meat-free options. My partner enjoyed the frozen Margaritas. This place is pay by card only which might be helpful for all to know. We just would've appreciated some hand sanitizer on the table. Seeing as tacos and mexican style food is usually eaten with hands. I recommend them and would definitely return.

Pretty average Mexican food. For the price you pay , you would think it would have a more unique flavour being so pricey. Better places that offer more. I could easily cook this all up for half the price!

Friendly, fast service, tasty food and good selection of drinks. We shared an entree and a main meal, tiki battered prawns and hot Baja spicy fries, followed by fajita OG chicken burrito with jalapeños mayonnaise, which was delicious and filled two us!The Mexican interior design combined with surfboards and string lighting created an fun dining experience.We sat near the large open window at the front, and enjoy the fresh air and natural lighting. Nice music wafted through the cantina style cafe/restaurant. There’s a courtyard with plenty of space for large groups. I asked the manager about the longboard above the bar and to my amazement he replied it was made by local surfing legend’Sam Egan’.We were impressed with the dining experience! Recommended!

Beach burrito goes above and beyond to achieve special requests. They have the best cocktails and food deals for happy hour. We have had free tequila shots and feel at home at beach burrito. The manager luke is very kind and I would recommend this place to anyone.
