Was misquoted for the treatment. Asked for a mani padi and was told $50 but after the treatment was done was told it was $95. That the $50 was just for the pedi deluxe. There was bo pricelist displayed so couldn’t check. The lady that did the treatment was lovely but she cut my big toe nail too much and am bleedling. Can’t wear shoes today. And I got gel nail on my hands and I have lost the colour on my pinky already, didn’t even last a day. I wore gloves to wash up. I never complain but I feel like I paid top dollar and got mediocre service.

I dropped in for a spur of the moment eyebrow waxing and manicure. It is not something I do often. We started with one eyebrow and it stung. The wax was put low on the lid, the sensitive part and it burnt and has marked my lower lid in 2 places. The lady tried to make it feel better at the time w cream and tissues but that made it feel worse. 1 hour later the area is red and swollen and looks scarred. She said this was normal but also that I should have held the skin to make it taut.(?) I persisted and had a manicure despite having a super sore eye. The manicure took a long time but she did a good job. I paid and left the salon and went and did shopping and must not have stopped to let the nails dry long enough as 3 nails became damaged! Needless to say a less than good experience and I won't be going back :-(

I have been attending Bare Salon for over 10 years. I have always found the staff to be very professional. They are friendly and make every visit a pleasure to attend. Highiy recommend Bare Salon and will definitely continue using their services.

I have been a client of Monusha’s for 18 years followed her from Ingle farm to Modbury and now to Walkerville. Will not allow anyone else to do my nails after some bad experiences before her. I don’t have lifts, breakages, or any problems with my nails and get them refilled regularly 4 weeks. She has the best imagination for special occasions and I always get compliments on my nails. Highly recommended

About 2-3 weeks ago I went to get eyelash extensions done here. Firstly, the whole process was uncomfortable for my eyes & lower lash line as the tape they used was poorly placed & irritated my eyes. The placing of the extensions took longer than initially told & throughout the placement the beautician was continuously coughing & blowing her nose without washing hands or anything which is very unhygienic. After the lashes were placed, the lady took the tape off and my eyes instantly began to burn & become extremely watery because the glue had entered them. Lastly, a day or two after, I woke up and my eye was swollen to double the size of its original size, it was bruised, extremely dry and red. I was extremely disappointed & frustrated. 1. because I wasted my money and 2. because I have received good service there before when getting my eyebrows waxed.

Sarah and the other girls at Bare are lovely - so friendly, professional and great at what they do. I use them for facials, waxing and mani-pedis and won’t go anywhere else. Sarah recommended a change in my skin care routine/products and it has visibly improved my skin. Can’t say thank you enough. 6 stars! :D

Had a wax here before and that was quite painful compared to how others do it, but the result was ok. Then had some eyelashes done and it was probably the worst set I ever had. Tore my skin very painfully with the masking tape, and the lashes were half falling off on the ends as soon as I sat up. Uneven lengths and very sparse. Beautician claimed it was because my natural lashes are sparse, but I can see gaps where my natural lashes have not even been used. Not a professional job.

If you've ever had to change salons because you've moved, you will know how stressful it is, especially when we are talking about waxing intimate areas.. Preet is amazing! She made it easy! I will be happy to continue to see her (and recommend her) for my waxing and eyebrows, and anything else she does ❤️

So, im a bloke i know nothing about salons or nails and this is my first time ive even been in a nail/salon shop.But with a warm welcoming staff and atmosphere. Great people person skills and knowledge. My nails looks well best they have ever been. This needed to be done and am glad i felt comfy and welcome.Was a good experience
