Nice little suburban bakery selling fresh bread, pastries, sweets and pies. They also make coffee here that's not bad if you've got no speciality coffee close by.Bought a plain crossaint which was massive - the width and size of a adult male hand and some! Not as flaky as I prefer but definitely very buttery. The morning bun is cinnamon perfection.

Yesterday I had a spinach & ricotta role which was delicious. I go another one today which was clearly left over from yesterday. Filling was dry and the pastry was not flakey. Had I know I would not have wasted my $6+ .

Cinnamon Breakfast Bun. This bun, eaten at the tables on the path outside with one of their flat whites, changed my life. I am a dull man but this bun, wow.

I have been a regular customer for years and have had problems here before but never said anything. However today, I politely asked for my money back ($5 for a pastry) that seemed okay until we bit into it. It was dry, old and gritty. I went in, asked for our money back with only a bite taken from it and they refused without talking with me and said no, they wouldn't assist. They also didn't offer to replace it or otherwise and dropped the conversation. They didn't care to keep us as regular customers which is disappointing, instead they ensured we never returned. I'm not sure if the guy I spoke with was a manager or supervisor but he seemed to not realise the importance of customer service. Would give zero stars if possible.

Tried only the pies. Great taste, tender beef, crunchy flaky crust. Pies are $7ish. Highly recommend their savory pies, especially the beef, bacon & cheese.

What an incredible experience! It has something for everyone.. whether it is an almond croissant, cupcakes, loaf of bread, or pies ready to go. One of the best bakeries in Canberra hands down. Coffee is from seven miles and the barista is excellent. Service is wonderful too!

Sensational bakery! Outstanding selection of breads, sweets and meat pies accompanied with stellar coffee! Perfect spot for any time of the day.

Shame zero stars are not an option. Despite inquiring which pies were “chunky steak” and then buying that recommendation. Regretfully and disappointingly the Pie was full of gravy and 1 VERY small cube of steak. So much so it was not a chunky steak pie ( pepper), but a pepper gravy pie. Little do they know, customers mainly buy pies for the fillings not the sauces. Stick to the four and twenties, they at least have an appropriate portion of meat in them and way less $$! , sorry but 1st & last time customer! If you want the best Pie in Canberra that has actual steak pieces on it ( full of it), go to Urban Pantry, now that’s a chunky steak Pie!
