Did ECU remapping and new Turbo installation, car is now smooth and gained good power and torque, can feel the difference when driving, highly recommend Andrew's experience and service.

After fitting an upgrade turbo and injector pump to my Patrol TD42Ti I had Andrew and Dean dyno the vehicle, and sort out a few other issues. I’m very pleased with the way it now goes, it cruises at highway speed with ease and has no problem towing our caravan. Thanks guys you did a great job.

Diesel TEC at Lilydale was extremely professional and diagnosed the issues with my Ford Transit, explaining why it lacked power when running. They checked each issue individually and informed me of the necessary repairs and the associated costs. Andrew was genuinely concerned about the problem and charged me a fair price. Andrew from Deiseltec did a fantastic job repairing our leaking injectors. We were expecting the worst and thought it would cost us a fortune. They repaired them and the price was a lot less than what I was expecting. Couldn’t be happier with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting an honest job done by experts.

Had a substantial amount of service/maintenance work done on my 1994 Toyota 80 series HD-T diesel at the start of December 2021. Took my Navara here to diagnose a fault where engine stalls after starting when the engine is cold. I was pleased that the mechanic tried to work this out (note I paid $200 for their efforts) BUT disappointed that they did not know or advise that this is a common problem with Navaras needing the timing chain replaced due to lag in the crank sensor timing. This is a weakness in Navaras as the timing chain stretches. Since the efforts of Deisel tec and after a lot of researching by myself and talking to other mechanics, I have now had this work done and the problem fixed. I just expected a more knowledgeable approach and advice from this workshop. Perhaps you can bank this knowledge for future Navara customers.For those readers needing to replace the timing chains this will likely cost about $3000.Update to previous post on the basis of Deisel-tecs response. Just to clarify I was providing an informative and reasonably full review of my experience. I will further clarify that Deisel-Tec said nothing about the likely source of the issue. Furthermore, if the diagnostic check for crank timing was simply to remove the connection to the sensor (a trivial 5 minute job) then why did they not try this given that they had the car for 24 hours. I am just disappointed they were not able to do better as they claim to be specialists. Like a lot of people, I rely on my car for getting to work and cannot afford time wasting. Just hoping this information helps others.

I had my 3.0lt Patrol towed here with a very vague stalling issue which was far beyond me.Andrew made quick work of the diagnostic, kept me posted on developments, gave me sound advice & charged me a very reasonable amount for the work done.I live 45+ minutes away and will drive back without question when I next have issues.
