Sue completed a beautiful and precisely fitted alteration of my maternity wedding dress. I am very grateful for her attention to detail and fast service in making my wedding dress the perfect fit! Thank you Sue!!!

Disappointing service!I brought my wedding dress to Sue to be altered. It was a vintage dress and the previous tailor had left it unfinished, so there was quite a bit of work to do to it. When I tried on the dress to show her, Sue decided to make a big scene of saying 'how wrong it was', suggesting I should get it remade and that it was all going to be 'very expensive to fix'. Her energy was so negative to the point of scolding me, that I was feeling quite upset while I was trying to explain what I wanted. When I came to the counter, she told me it was going to cost $900 to alter. I was so upset, that I had to leave the shop in tears. After composing myself, I told her that I would get a few quotes and get back to her because I felt it was too much. Sue did not apologise for upsetting me and refused to come down in price.I took it to two other alteration ladies that day. One quoted $150 and the other quoted $350. I knew that Sue's quote was much too expensive. Needless to say I won't ever be going back!

Amazing service! I had to get a dress altered in 2 days and she listened to everything I asked. Definitely recommend her! Will come back

Wow! Dropped off three pants to be resized and shortened on a Friday and Sue had them ready on Monday morning. Now that is what I call service and at the lowest price in the area. Thanks again for a professional and quality service.

Just because the alteration lady that I know she is retired, I went to sue’s Alteration , she is way too expensive , shocks me how much she charge to change a long zipper and I drove long way to get to her just because she said it cheap on the phone and she put the price higher when she saw me ,will not go back to her .

Took in a woollen coat for a simple hem reduction and wanted to charge me $75! Not competitive and ended up getting the coat shortened at the shop in North Rocks for $35! There are several other reviews for this shop of a similar nature, so clearly there is prior form in overcharging. Stop playing the victim card about “feeling threatened”, and yes, I do get quotes from my mechanic and go elsewhere if I think I’m being ripped off, as I did with you.

I approached Sue early last month to see if she could use the dress my mother had worn for my wedding into a baptismal gown for my daughter. I had no idea what the outcome would be but asked Sue to use all the material of the dress and to keep specific parts of it intact. I was absolutely delighted with the finished product and made my daughter's baptism a bit more special. We now have a couture baptismal gown which can be kept in the family.

They did a great job with taking in the side seams of my trousers to take volume out of my pant legs. Pricing seems fair compared to other enquiries I made. Was made to feel uncomfortable for wanting to pay with credit card because they saw cash in my wallet

I needed the straps on a bridesmaid dress tightened, they did a very good job with it, as you can’t even notice where they stitched it, and it now fits perfectly. Was charged $38 for it which felt a bit expensive at the time but I don’t have any experience with alterations anyways, and the quality was worth it.
