As with a lot of pharmacy s these days I think we need to question them when they constantly refuse elderly people for relief medication, this has happened to me on two occasions, one for mild sleep medication and once for itchy dermatitis medication for my mother that has late stage dementia.I will tell you why they do this, it is because they want to elevate over the counter products to higher levels in order to justify three main things:1.) Pushing the need to visit a doctor for a script for otherwise safe medications.2.) Hold the prices high as when they are on the PBS or behind the counter the chemist will never discount them.3.) Over justify their own importance (no they are far from doctors) to again keep prices high through artificial scarcity.Please give up trying to kid us your responses are about concern for our health, we all know the main reason is to boost your own profits and your stakeholders profits.All I wanted was a product that worked, I need not have to pander to in store assistants egos in order to be allowed" to purchase relief medication for my mother in Australia."
