Woolworths Prospect Vale

Saturday 11th March 2023 I entered this Woolworths store between the hours of 8am-9am. I own a business in Bicheno and I regularly shop in this store for products and produce for my business. I had my 2 grandchildren with me , I had 3 different shops , one for myself, one for my son and one for my business . Because I reside in Bicheno any fresh meat or fish I pack into my cooler bag I zip the bag up until I get to the checkout . I cruised around doing my shopping , chatting to a couple of staff members I knew and trying to deal with 2 little kids .. Got up to the checkout and this is where my day went down hill fast .. I was met with a very large staff member, Jacque Cross , who I presumed was just doing checkout public relations . NOPE !!! My grandson was playing up , I turned to him and said” this lady will “ she cut me off before I could say anymore . “ Don’t !just don’t “ was her nasty reply . I proceeded to put my groceries up, as I had 3 different orders I ask the young man to do seperate invoices . Not a problem .. The whole time this large women basically was sitting on my shoulder . I had 2 trolleys 1 large and 1 small . I put the large trolley through first but did leave my meat and fish produce hanging on the back of the trolley . I just pushed that aside and emptied the smaller trolley .. I was going to race the smaller trolley to the bay where they go but was abruptly asked “What’s in that bag?” The one hanging off the back of the trolley . I said I’m coming back as soon as I race this trolley over .. I came back and proceeded to put the bag on the counter .. I paid all 3 invoices and went to leave the store but I was that angry, embarrassed and close to tears of the way I was made to feel like I was a thief .. I approached this staff member and told her how she had made me feel .. she smuggly turned and said “That was not my intention “ it was her intention !!! She couldn’t even look at me when I spoke with her … Woolworths Prospect need to do some serious staff training on customer relations and people skills .. I did ring management, and yes I was given an apology, but in my view that large staff member should be the one giving the apology !!

I really like shopping here, I particularly like the great little cafe, they have the best cake and the portions are so generous, we have to share a piece between us.....its great!

Sometimes find it hard to get some of the items that o need , no stock , good fast friendly service though

Great woolies. Usually clean and well stocked. But sometimes the home brand eggs have vinegar type liquid on them.

I am astounded at price increase on most items...nearly everything has increased from between 20c to $4.00. Cannot understand how this can be justified. Every week, seems to be another increase. I will definately be cutting back from now on.

Lovely large aisles, nicely stocked and neat shelves. Large variety and many specials. An enjoyable shopping experience.

Well laid out store, easy to find what I was after, and for someone going into a strange place, it made it easy for me. The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Probably one of the best stocked WW in the Lonnie area, and far better than the central WW which is currently being renovated and really un-customer friendly at the mo
