Graeme is an experienced and very wise family lawyer. You must trust him to guide you through the family court process and he will get you to the finish line in the least stressful way. If you don’t trust him, it will get expensive and then even more stressful. Let him navigate the course – he knows his stuff, believe me. And for the record, towards the end of my case, as the other party were so obviously drawing things out, I was advised to ‘go off the record’ – ie act for myself – how many lawyers do that?!! Lucky Libby Johanson having Graeme as her mentor. No complaints from me, plus he wears a very nice hat!

I was extremely happy with the service I received from Rattigan & Associates. My divorce was extremely complicated due to the nature of the business my ex and I had together. Graeme was extremely efficient and knowledgeable and also genuinely caring at an incredibly stressful time of my life.I could not recommended him more highly and was more than satisfied with the results he achieved.

Disappointing experience here. After a lot of money and time was spent in preparing for my day in court, ensuring we had all we needed for a fair outcome, none of that was used on the day. It was a completely different approach to what was planned. I felt I was pressured (by my side) into finalising an early outcome, even though none of our cards were played. It was a stressful day in court, I was blindsided, and I felt I didn't get the support or guidance I needed and paid for. After that day more issues were identified as well as a lack of empathy became evident. Hindsight is a wonderful thing .....

Whilst Mr Rattigan Im sure at one stage was an accomplished lawyer, in my opinion, he is no more, come out of retirement from what I was told, his only interest is solely for the money, he came recommended from a friend who used his services for advice only, for his divorce. I used his full services for mine. I found their office to be extremely disorganised after taking $12000.00 to prepare my case and couldn't find anything at the mediators, when asked by the mediator for a statement the pair of them left me to rummage through my things along with giving me advice to settle, had I not followed my gut instinct It would have set me back almost $100 k.Mr Rattigan Quoted me $3000 up to $80k if we go to the end and when he took $30 k he then said it will take another $100k After telling me we had a good case. He just have the lion in him he led me to believe on our initial interview.His secretary I found to be extremely rude and boarder line incompetent. They just don't care about their clients even tho Mr Rattigan is approaching his 70's he was still agressive enough to yell and scream at me in his office to the point I had to tell him to get out of his boardroom, he later apologised but I should have fired him right there and then, when I queried his last bill he immediately took a caveat out on my property.His right hand assistant Lilly Johanson comes across as professional and knowing her stuff but in the end all bark. She will no doubt run her own business one day but I fear her mentor would have taught her what so many people hate about lawyers take take take. They will respond to your emails in 3 to 4 days regardless of how stressed or urgent you think the matter is they will not assit in settling your nerves and charge you for every email you write to them asking for an answer. Unless you fire them then you get a response with in hours.I gave two stars because he did have an impression in the court room, the judge seem to respect him, if only they knew what had become of him. I expected the bill I never had a problem with his extravagant pricing because he convinced me he could win, my bad. I'm $30k in the hole and in search of new council.

I could not speaker higher of this gentleman, Graeme is a wonderful Listener and an extreme problem solver. He takes his job very seriously and has an empathetic approach with positive results for all his clients. a very dapper presented man who takes every case with pride as his reputation precedes him. if you want a win, he is your man!

The team at Rattigan and Associates are really quite extraordinary. Most people have few words of praise for lawyers and this is because they are often only seeing a legal person as a result of some trauma or major life-issue. For me it was a family law matter and here is what happened. Firstly, I was met with a calm of genuine interest in me as a person. The team members are very reassuring and helped me overcome my personal discomfort at needing legal help to disentangle my life. When I first walked in to meet Mr Rattigan he made me feel at ease and assured me everything would be ok . My story was painful and complex however he quickly understood and gave me worldly advice “live your life and try and be happy while this gets sorted “My goal was to hold onto my apartment so my daughter and I had somewhere to live . This was achieved so I couldn’t be happier.Everyone in the office was so helpful and professional , Libby was particularly good at her job . I would not hesitate to recommend .
