A Great Ocean View Motel
Just arrived home after another amazing trip to a great ocean view motel. We have been over a dozen times and love it more each time. Amazing view, comfortable beds and couch. Shower nice pressure, clean, simple, fair price and short walk to main street. Love seeing the seals on rocks with binoculars from our room. We will be back shortly. We go away at least once a month and this always our first choice. The view is the best in apollo bay.

A Great Ocean View Motel
We stayed for one night and I'm really confused by the mixed reviews on here, because we loved it!The owners were friendly and our room was great. Yes, it could do with a bit of an update, but it was.clean and comfortable, the shower was great, the bed was comfy. I think.maybe some people aren't considering price when they write reviews (you're not booking the Ritz)!The place is a very short walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and the fishermen's co-op.The best part was when you open the window at night you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach!We will definitely stay here again!

A Great Ocean View Motel
Location is amazing, beautiful view over the bay, and private balcony, was quiet with only the sound of the ocean at night, which we loved. Staff were very helpful and made an undercover area available for my Harley. Rooms was a good size, and bathroom was clean and functional, facilities provided were great. Bed was very comfortable. About 600 mtrs walk back into town, which we liked, but a taxi service is available too.

A Great Ocean View Motel
exactly what my mum and i needed! we booked last minute and stayed 1 night, and we had no complaints! it was comfortable and clean, with excellent and friendly staff, and an extremely beautiful view, as advertised! With all the usual motel amenities, even including a little bottle of milk for our morning coffees! considering likely short staffing due to covid, we were extremely impressed! wifi worked great, and it was quiet and close enough to the beach to hear the waves! we'll be back soon!

A Great Ocean View Motel
While the room was a bit dated, the view was fantastic from the room. The deal breaker, however was that the front door was falling apart and you could hear the ocean breeze coming underneath the door. To make matters worse, the carpet near the door was soggy and could be lifted up to expose black mould. That is a health risk and is unacceptable. We couldn’t stay there and thankfully we received a full refund. This motel needs a massive update, along with regular maintenance to ensure it is kept up to standard. Wouldn’t recommend staying there in its current shape.

A Great Ocean View Motel
For a budget hotel, this place was great. I stayed for two nights while I did some weekend hiking along the Great Ocean Walk, and it was the perfect place to come back to after a long day: clean cosy and quiet, and close to the pub!The beds were comfy, and Genevieve was lovely at check-in. I often stay at hotels in this price range, and rarely are they this pleasant.

The rooms were nice and had everything needed. However, the toilet was not clean and was full of dust and small small hair. The bathroom had spiders hanging around and the ceiling of entire room and bathroom had small flies and mosquitoes. Cleanliness was the big issue but.

Clean room with modern furnishings. Biggest downside was a noisy family next door and being able to hear everything through the walls + from the outside balcony’s.Not a bad place to stay if you’re tired after a big road trip.
