Bridgetown Hospital

Do not go here if you are struggling with your mental health . I would have thought after they lost one of there own doctors from mental health struggles they would have had better training .As a few years ago when I was last there struggling and they told me to get in my car and drive to doctors .Several nurses had total Lack of compassion.I felt I was avoided through it all and then made to feel as though I was an inconvenience taking up a bed as I could not get someone to pick me up tillmorning .I’ve never felt so alone and the experience has made me remember why I do not reach out for help and why so many others choose not to as well .

I don't even know where to begin. Horrible bedside manner. Fully unequipped and unwilling to be of actual assistance in anyway beyond giving simple pain medication. I was in absolute agony, pain meds were doing nothing. As I was writhing on the bed, barely able to talk, trying to answer questions about my pain, I was being cut off every 3 words. The demeanor of the nurse made it clear she thought I was making it up and that she could not be more done with me. Then after 2 hours of this, I was told I should just go to Bunbury. An hour's drive while still in complete agony and no closer to understanding why or getting any pain relief.If you have anything worse than a headache, just go to Bunbury Hospital. Bridgetown hospital may as well just be another GP medical Centre.

The Doctor at Bridgetown hospital destroyed my life?He said I can't drive anymore, I've been 100 persent all my life and am still 100 persent, I work and drive 2 times every week, all the people who drive for me acashionaly, do not drive 100 persent like me? The worst nurses. The laughed at my mate when he groaned or cried.Turns out his arm was broken in 7 places.Don't go alone and make sure you have someone to call them on their lack of care.
