In my opinion, the people that run this business are not very professional. Among other minor customer service issues, which I don't think warrant a bad review, the thing that swayed me to leave this review was the fact that they refused to honour a written quote. They pulled apart a hard drive we gave to them for quotation, gave us a written quote, then they refused to carry out the work when we accepted the quote. I am happy to revise this review if the owners want to discuss the issue in a calm, professional and reasonable manner.

My husband lost photos on a USB. Took the device to Elcotronics and paid $80 for an analysis of the problem. Received a phone call to say they had recovered the photos from his corrupted" USB. On returning to the shop he was shown the recovered photos on an in store laptop. Was then told the fee for the recovery would be $295. (All up cost of $375) His response was that the photos were not worth that much. The shop attendant went to the back of the shop returning with the news that the engineer would agree to $200. He again replied that the photos were not worth that much and was given his "corrupted" USB back and left the shop. Just by chance a "Tech Savvy" friend asked to have a look at it. In ten seconds flat he told him two files of photos had been merged and with a quick "click and drag" BINGO his photos were back. His comment about this business....... DISHONEST!!!!"
