My family stayed at 10 Fingal St Nelsons Bay in January this year. I rarely do reviews BUT we paid $1400 for 4 nights and we had:1) Overfull bins with food waste falling out of bin and flies everywhere. Hence no bin space for us to use. Cleaners aware.2) Property was filthy inside, not vaccumed or mopped and smelt of old musty carpet. Spider webs and spiders across main entrance.3) Toaster tripping the main circuit, used oven instead.4) Bath tub unuseable with tap broken and not repaired at change of tenant5)Main umbrella on deck area was disintegrated and not useable so deck not useable in summer heat. Cleaner/owners were aware.6)Main couch had dust and fluff on it and fans were so dirty no point using them as dust would fly onto linen7)The state of linen items in cupboard was disgusting8)Main vertical blinds on slide door to deck stuck together with sticky tape...so cheap to replace!We were up at Nelsons with 4 other families however we couldn't invite friends over as the place was embarrasing.At check out, Mikayla from front desk asked for me to provide a report and pictures of our experience. This was done on 14th Jan 2021.I then spent the next 6 weeks following up on this as I expected to be compensated in some way for the state of the property. The report was sent to their ownercare team which did nothing, and then I was told that Caitlin, the property manager for 10 Fingal is responsible. She would do nothing as promised, couldn't locate report or photos, initially claimed she didn't know about the issues, promised a reply but failed, very hard to contact.So now its May 2021, I've heard nothing since, and will now have to begin action with the Dept of Fair Trading. What a Pain!!**Update to their reply**Yes now that this review is up things are 'immediate' and 'serious' to save face. You have had 5 months to take action. You have my contact details.You did zero. I would've been happy with a small refund like $100 for the inconvenience. but no. So lets do it this way now.Stand by for updates, complaint lodged with dept today.

Dirty unclean apartment. Cleaners then came at 8:30pm. Then didn't leave linen or towels. Couldn't stay there as a result. Left me stranded at 10pm with a 2 year old that didn't have a place to sleep. Don't want to refund and are ignoring our requests for a refund. They don't care at all.***update to their reply***Went into their office twice during my stay and they ignored my requests, emailed them and they ignored me again. Now they have replied to this review just so it looks like they are trying but they aren’t so don’t be fooled. We stayed there from the 28th of December to the 30th. You know who I am and have my details because I complained and emailed many times to which you ignored.

I had booked through Airbnb and realised it was through a booking agency so I googled reviews and was concerned after reading all the negative reviews that I tripled check with winning holidays days before my stay via the email and phone. All times they were very responsive, confirming my booking along with confirming that towels and linen to be provided. The time I rang mikalya was super lovely on the phone.The place we rented was everything it said it was on the listing. Beautiful views and a lovely home that accommodated my family.

DONT BOOK WITH THEM! They false advertise!They Broke ALL of air bnb’s policies and scam innocent people of their hard earned money.Discriminated against a disable man and pregnant women with disgusting customer service and multiple LIES.On air bnb the house was advertised in Wanda bay with a safe functioning pool yet when we arrived it was green and full of algae. We called Pool works the services and they confirmed the pool has been broken for months and the owner doesn’t want to fix it yet when we informed winning homes and port Stephens they lied and said that it was brought to their attention when we called them. Yet when was your last inspection liars? The pool can’t go from blue to green over night that takes weeks.The house was also filthy- broken window handles- broken blinds- dusty air vents- cockroaches in cooking utensils- the kitchen sink leaked- shower taps brokenI wish I checked the Google reviews before I booked them on air bnb.Don’t ever make the same mistake we did and never book with them. Vanessa, Shelly and Aizia are trained in scamming people of their money. Nothing else.It took a supervisor 6 hours to call us to relive the manner to which they did not then they made ILLEAGLE unauthorised transactions on my card.

We stayed at Unit 38, number 2 Gowrie Street, Nelson Bay for a fee of $1729 for 3 nights. Awesome location and that is all I can say! I knew I wasn't getting 5 star, BUT definitely did not expect the following (photos attached)1. Kitchen floor was not mopped prior to our stay - stains infront of the kitchen cupboards at entry of the kitchen.2. Underneath the breakfast bar - prior occupants had spilt something, not cleaned prior to our stay3. Dead Cockroach near the sliding door4. Cockroach bate in the kitchen cupboard near the plates...yuk!5. Cockroach bate in the master bedroom wardrobe6. ENSUITE TOILET - the seat did not fit the bowl, not even sure how the owners thought this was acceptable(?)!!!!! NOT SURE HOW WINNING HOLIDAYS THOUGHT THIS WAS ACCEPTABLE!!!!

Warning to all potential home owners looking for management agents for your holiday property. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Extremely unprofessional, unable to resolve issues of duplicate cleaning invoices, no pre arrival or post departure inspections, property damage not reported, cleaning not completed before new arrivals.

Thank you for our wonderful stay, such a beautiful home with absolutely stunning picturesque views. Our family had such an amazing and relaxing weekend. The aboriginal artworks throughout the home was a beautiful connection to our family background culture, We would highly recommend this place to everyone who would want to spoil themselves with luxury and serenity.

AVOID AT ALL COST. Don’t ruin your holiday plans.We booked an airbnb managed by Winning, and the property was not cleaned at all. So we saw all the filth from the previous tenants, full bins, wet towels and all that when we checked in. Even after they cleaned the place, we found cockroaches! They are the worst company to deal with also - all they said was a report had been made for the management to action but after weeks of follow ups and strong words they agreed to refund us some money back but never actually did. Every time we followed up, we get different persons.. always. Grace, jocbi, aileen, mary, arlene, not a single one could resolve anything. Useless! Why are you even employed?I don’t know what’s so difficult transferring a couple of bucks back to our bank account? If you go to their office across woolies there in nelson bay, they got rows of operators behind their computer screen looking busy.. playing solitaire? Not even a single courtesy hello when picking up and dropping off keys.About the stay? Filthy place, full of cockroaches and spiders, no dishwashing tablets, no aluminium foils, no tissues, expired milk, rusty cutleries, lipstick stained cups and flutes, should I continue further?Winning Holidays, you’re the least professional accommodation company I’ve come across, you should not even exist! Shame on you.
