Questacon is really an incredible place to visit for young and old alike. We literally arrived 9:30am and stayed until 5pm at closing, and the kids wanted to go back the next day. Definitely book beforehand.

We went with three adults, a 5 year old, and an a 21 month old and we had an amazing time! Every room had so much to do in it. We were there for almost 5 hours and could've spent longer. The talk in the theatre was great, the presenter (Jade?) was engaging and funny and taught us a bunch of new things about dinosaurs. Highly recommend!

This was the main reason we came to Canberra. There was so much to do and we had a great time. But it was really busy and crowded. Some things we just abandoned looking at because it was too busy. The food in the cage was all a bit fancy given its a kids place primarily, we ended up with hot chips which weren't great.Gift shop was full over over priced things you could buy anywhere. We ended up returning the $17 hand microscope via post when we'd gone home because it literally did nothing. Utter rubbish. Why do they stock it???My youngest son loved playing with the microscopes checking out all the specimens supplied as well as our own skin, clothing etc. It was fascinating.I'd definitely recommend coming here, just be prepared for crowds and have lunch elsewhere.

Having been to a few museums now, it was great to take my 3yo to one specifically designed for them to touch and play with the exhibits. I think it would be more aimed towards someone 5+ but it was still great for my child, and we will definitely be back before he is 5.The lighting inside is a bit dim, with the individual stations of an exhibit well lit, and overall it is very noisy, so if you or your child are easily overstimulated, it may not be the best place to bring them.

Truly the best of the best. We went to so many science museum in NSW and Questacon is the best. We spent 5 hours there and try everything out. It contains so many interesting things that the kids loved them so much. The tickets were really worth!

Questacon is an enriching and interesting place to visit if you happen to find yourself down in the ACT. There are lots of interactive and visually stimulating activities for ages young to old. There is a range of exhibits from physics to chemistry to astronomy. There is a gift shop on the lower level that sells a range of science related suvineres as well as fun toys. A great place to visit for half a day.

Great place to adventure with kids, spend at least 2hours here. Easy ramps for access and nice staff. Something for everyone, hands on things to do and build and many more just to look at.My highlight was watching the snooker / pool balls racing around the circuit (photo)

Great place for kids of any age and for adults too. Lots of scientific exploration and activities for kids. There are eight galleries with different scientific topics. There are different shows available in different sessions. Tickets are a bit cheaper if you buy on arrival compared to online. But during busy period such as school holidays better to book in advance to avoid disappointments. Overall 5 star.

We took family package for 4 of us. It cost $70 in total and it was worth every penny. Wonderful exposure for the kids regarding gravity, earth, planets, natural disasters and some earthquake sourcing skills and knowledge. It’s must for us as parents and kids too.
