Nike Factory Store

On 24 Dec 2020, called beforehand in the morning with the item code to put a bag on hold. There were 2 left. Manager asked for me to confirm I would 'absolutely have to buy it' when I have reached the store if the staff member is to put it on hold.I have confirmed I would travel down there but will take some time and it will be before 5 pm. Staff member said all sorted, see you then.I was working in the morning and travelled down there using public transport and was delayed by an hour due to missed connecting bus. Reach there at 3 pm and was told words to the effect of 'sorry as soon as we got off the phone. Two different set of persons took 2 of the bags.. we are unable to do anything'I would be more forgiving if it's an individual/small player, I would like to share my thoughts and experience:1. The manager could have told me that they are not interested to put an item on hold..first come first serve2. Nike is a big store, there are bound to have return policy. Big store that has a store policy to put an item on hold till the end of day and sales are not 100% final because there is a 30 days return policy usually.3. Manager could have possibly discussed payment options over the phone.4. Staff member should not have confirmed item is 'on hold' until the staff member has grabbed it off the floor and it is put behind the counter.5. Its Covid-19 precaution days, I called beforehand to confirm things is there before travelling down for safety reasons, reduction of carbon footprint, and to reduce people traffic.6. I travelled by public transport all the way from Fortitude Valley to Jindalee with a face mask... imagine the time wasted on Christmas Eve. Have my Go! Card to prove my whereabouts and time spent in transit.7. If I am not a serious/savvy customer, would I have taken a picture of the tag, called beforehand with Item Code and have the staff search in the computer to see if the item is there. See attached.Highly unsatisfied. Even though the solution offered was 50% on other gym bags and I would mention this just to show what was being offered as a solution but come on, this whole situation could have been avoided. This is an appalling customer service! All the travelling and phone call for nothing during a COVID-19 period.

This store sells mostly older stock in limited sizes etc , probably unpopular stuff rejected from mainstream stores.Occasionally you can snag a bargain if you're lucky.The young staff can be helpful if asked.Counter staff are friendly too.The Saturday flash sales can be good if there's something you like in your size.Overall not a bad store but it's hit n miss depending on the current stock.

I am giving out 5 stars because of the amazing staff member - Anna. Super energetic and helpful, Anna proactively helped me in choosing the right shoes matching my requirements. She took extra efforts in showing me shoes that were not on display. Other staff members were also friendly but Anna is on a completely different level as far as the customer service department is concerned.I wish we had more dedicated and self motivated people like her. Overall, a good store with decent variety, which I believe can be improved.

Busy today but all staff were friendly, outgoing and polite. Managed to fund something for everyone today and all for a great price.

Visited on 5/03/2023. Poor staff service (PM staff), very unprofessional, poor communication skills. Moreover, doesn’t know how to respect a customer.

OMG, I never want to spend in a normal retail store again. This place is fantastic. If you want a bargain, or just more budget friendly for your pocket, this place is the one to shop at. They have a very big range of sizes and new stock often. I picked up $100 sneakers for kids down to $25. Im sometimes paying kmart prices for Nikes. it's fabulous. Not always like this, but when they have sales, prices are even better.

In store advertising that download the app joint membership will get 10% off but never get ???Put my stuff in the bag and charge money for the bag I did check until I got home (didn’t ask me need the bag or not) bag is free from adidas, fila. Novo…store!!!
